Dan Held is an old-school Bitcoiner who has been in the space since the very beginning; he sold his price app ZeroBlock to Blockchain.info in 2013. But while he's largely seen as a Bitcoin maximalist by his half a million fans on Twitter, he tells Dan Roberts and Stacy Elliott he's a "permissive" and "open-minded" Bitcoiner: he's watching the Ethereum Merge closely, and he admits Ethereum's move to proof of stake will put pressure on Bitcoin's energy use. He also talks about gold, privacy, and NFTs.
