Hey guys, I'm Kira, and today you'll learn how to pronounce the word Zgliat, meaning Glance or View. Let's begin with the last three letters. The soft L almost sounds like it has a Y sound built in. Y. Y. The D sounds like a D, when this word is read by itself, or when it ends a phrase. And we need to start with good Russian default mouth position. Just slightly forward, tip of the tongue behind the bottom teeth, lips rounded, and protruded. Yat. Yat. It's not Lat, with the tip of your tongue, the tip makes a buzzing sound that we don't want. Instead, be sure to use the part of the tongue just behind the tip to make contact with the roof of the mouth for the test sound at the end of the word. Zhotang lips. Lat. Lat. Now let's add the G. Glat. Glat. If yours sounds more like Glat, try moving your tongue further forward.
