And this week's Mott Draft for the New York Giants in the 2026 NFL Draft were looking at their first trade-down scenario from the 5th overall pick. They swap with the New Orleans Saints, grabbing the 8th and 73rd picks in return. At number 8, the Giants snag Caleb Downs, the safety from Ohio State. He was their top target anyway. And with some early receivers and linebackers off the board, this move let them stock up without missing out. Moving to Round 2 at Pick 37, they add wide receiver Denzel Boston from Washington. This 6 foot 3 guy brings size, strong hands, and contested catchability, filling a key need up front no matter what happens in free agency. In Round 3, with their new pick at 73, its defensive tackle Dominique Orange from Iowa State. The 322 pounder is a classic run-plugger, echoing the Giants old philosophy of hoarding

1:01big, athletic lineman to dominate the trenches. They wrap up in Round 4 at 105 with offensive tackle Tristan Lee from Clemson. A 6 foot 6 project with explosive power and flexibility, he met with the team recently and fits that same build, big win inside approach.
