Last year alone, he gave up two sacks and 31 pressures while playing the second most snaps. His contract enters its final year with a $9 million dollar base salary and an $11.5 million dollar cap hit, one of the team's biggest. A smart move would be restructuring it like single teres cut to veteran minimum plus play based incentives.
