Giants Host Memphis Tackle Travis Burke

With the NFL today, March 20th, the New York Giants are bringing in Memphis offensive tackle

Travis Burke for a top 30 pre-draft visit next month.

As 6 feet 9 inches and 325 pounds, Burke turned heads at the NFL Scouting Combine last

month with his massive frame and raw potential.

Burke played under David Deal at Memphis.

The former Giants star who won two Super Bowls and now coaches the Tigers offensive line.

That connection makes this visit especially interesting for New York, as they scout

for line help.

Several teams see upside in Burke 2.

The Patriots, Saints and Ravens have invited him, while at least a dozen others have met

or planned to meet with the big tackle.

He's projected as a day 3 pick in the draft set for next month, giving the Giants a chance

to grab him late if he fits their plans.

With the draft right around the corner, visits like this could shape the Giants roster for

years to come.
