They're showing strong interest in Jamel Dean, a veteran free agent from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Dean could fill a key gap in their secondary. Dean joined the Bucks as a third round pick back in 2019. Last season, he put up standout numbers, earning top marks and coverage and pass rush from Pro Football Focus. He held opponents to just the 49.2% completion rate. The Giants need help at the position, partly because Cordale Flot is hitting free agency. Even if he comes back, they want more depth to shore up the defense. Dean's biggest issue is injuries. He's missed at least two games every year of his seven-year career and never played a full season that could lower his price tag on the market.
