On March 3rd, a British rapper known as Gets has pleaded guilty to causing the death of a 20-year-old student by dangerous driving. The victim, Yubin Tamang from Nepal, was studying in the UK when he was struck by the artist's black BMW in Northeast London last October. He passed away in hospital two days later. Police reports show the driver was going more than 60 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour zone on Red Bridge Lane around 11.33 p.m. on October 18th. He hit Yubin as he crossed the road coming home from work and failed to stop at the scene. Yubin's mother shared her heart-breaking court through an interpreter, describing extreme pain and an unimaginable loss as their only child. She explained how he had come to the UK chasing a world-recognized degree and both parents urged the judge for the toughest possible sentence. The rapper, whose real name is Justin Clark Samuel, also admitted to other instances of dangers driving across central and east London before the fatal crash. The 41-year-old from Woodford Green has already been banned from driving.

He set for sentencing at the Old Bailey Today, where a jail term looms as the family awaits justice in this tragic case.
