Georgia Runoff: Fuller vs Harris

0:00On March 11, in George's 14th Congressional District, a special election runoff is set between Republican Clayton Fuller and Democrat Sean. Harris, neither cleared 50% in the first round, so they'll face off on April 7 to finish Marjorie Taylor Greene's vacated term. With 85% of votes tally Tuesday night, Harris held 37.2% to Fuller's 35.1%. Harris has a group grab 60% overall, while Democrats combine for about 40%. The district runs from Atlanta's Northwest suburbs along the Alabama border of to Tennessee and has favorite conservatives heavily since Greens first. When in 2020, Harris, a retired Brigadier general and cattle farmer, ran against her last year and gained from the split Republican field. Fuller advanced thanks to President Trump's February endorsement in a 12-candidate race. Greene resigned after clashing publicly with Trump, but stayed neutral, saying she'd let voters pick her successor without her backing.
