Georgia Basketball's Cyril Ejected, Team Faces Uphill Battle

Their sophomore center, Sumto Ciro, got ejected for Flagrin 2 foul with 17 minutes and 54 seconds left in the second half. At that point, the 7th seed of Bulldogs trailed the 15th seed of Rebels by 15 at 39-24. The incident happened near the basket when Ciro's left elbow caught Ole Miss player Travis Perry on the side of the head. The 6-1-1 big man who leads the conference in block shots had already chipped in 6 points and 4 rebounds over 14 minutes of play. This wasn't Ciro's first ejection this season. Back in January, he got tossed for a similar Flagrin 2 during a loss at Florida, raising questions about his discipline on the court. After Ciro headed to the locker room at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Ole Miss quickly stretched the lead to 45-24, putting Georgia in an even deeper hole.
