0:00On March 25th, Sienna Standout Guard Gavin Dodie is entering the transfer portal after two strong seasons with the Saints. The 6-foot-5 sophomore from Fulton, New York started all 35 games this year, averaging 18 points, nearly 7 rebounds, 2. Assist and 1.3 steals per game. Sienna finished 23 and 12 overall, won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament and nearly pulled off an upset against. Top-seated Duke in the first round of the NCAA tournament, losing 71 to 65. Dodie scored 21 points in that game, despite shooting struggles. He's now the Sienna record holder for most points in a player's first two seasons, topping 991. Earlier this month, he earned a spot on the all-MAAC first team, the first Saints player to do so since 2021. Speculation is swirling that Dodie could head to Syracuse, where his former coach Jerry McNamara now leads the program.
