Gators' Rioux Sets Record in 59-Point Blowout

The highlight came late when 7-foot-9 redshirt freshman Olivier Ryu checked in with under two minutes left. He quickly dunked, becoming the tallest player ever to score in a tournament game. Ryu already holds multiple records as the tallest in college basketball history. He was the first to play at his height back in November. Then the tallest to score a free throw and later a field goal. Friday marked yet another milestone in the blowout. The Gators bench-led chance calling for Ryu to enter and the arena erupted when he scored. Team mates, coaches and fans celebrated wildly along with buzz across social media. It was a fun moment amid total domination. Florida set program records with 114 points and 29 assists in the tournament game. They also hit their 6-100 point outing this season, the most ever for the school.
