From across Europe, powered by AI, this is Europe News Today. I'm Corey with the story. Two Gurdai are still in the hospital tonight after a string of violent clashes in County Monahan that kicked off with an assault and ended with a brutal car ramming. Plain closed officers stopped a man in his 20s, just after 11.30 a.m., but he turned aggressive, attacked them, and bolted into nearby fields. On 1 p.m. in Tully Corbett, a patrol car got smashed up bad by a dark-ray Audi A6 registered in Northern Ireland. The two people inside the driver and passenger jumped out and ran, sparking a big search with ground teams, armed units, and even the Garda chopper. The injured Gurdai, a man and a woman from that patrol car, got checked out at our lady of Lord's Hospital in Dragheda and haven't been released yet. These attacks highlight the raw risks officers face daily just to keep community safe. They nabbed the man in his 20s belief to be the Audi passenger, and the earlier assaulter,

he's locked up under the Criminal Justice Act at a... Monahan station. The driver's still on the loose, but cops called off the active hunt tonight while chasing solid leads. The whole probe's running out of Monahan Garda station. Anyone with tips should hit them up to help wrap this up quick.
