Gamecocks Land Offensive Lineman, Class Heating Up

0:00On April 28th, South Carolina football just snagged a big win for their 2027 recruiting class. After dropping two commitments last month, a cornerback and a wide receiver, the game cops landed offensive lineman Will Indicod from Prosper, Texas. This 6 foot 4, 280 pound interior guy makes it three total pledges now. Earlier this month, they already had four star safety. Bernard Albright locked in from December 25th and three star quarterback Jerry Meyer the third from April 3rd. Indicod's flip puts them back on track, even though 247 sports hadn't ranked him yet when news broke Monday. Indicod dug his march visit to Columbia, calling it a chill spot, not too crowded like Dallas, with nice folks, good eats, and just two hours from the beach. That vibe clearly sealed the deal for the Texas kid looking to block up front. He's got an official visit planned with South Carolina in early June, so expect more buzz around his fit in their line. Meanwhile, the staff keeps pushing to build depth early.
