Head coach Shane Beamer shared the news on Tuesday that offensive lineman Josiah Thompson will likely miss the entire 2026 season due to. A nagging issue from a couple years back that needs surgery. A few weeks earlier, transfer offensive lineman, Jacarious Peak, from NC State, heard his knee in a team three on three basketball event and will sit. Out all of spring ball at minimum. Beamer also noted that the offensive tackle Caleb Williams and offensive lineman Jake Wrecker won't take part in the 15 plant spring sessions, which put some pressure on the death chart early in the off season. Several others will be limited, including defensive backs, Jackson Berger and Zabary Sandy, wide receiver Jaden Gibson, and edge rusher's copy. Saki Pra, Jacquavius Dodd, George Wilson, and Dylan Stewart, who got banged up late last season. With the first practice set for Wednesday, the team will adapt and push forward through the setbacks to build momentum heading into next fall.
