Gamecocks Advance to SEC Semis with Kentucky Win

As the top seed, they improved to 31 wins and won loss all time from that spot, marking their sixth straight trip to the semis. This victory came just six days after a closer win against the same Wildcats. The Gamecocks jumped out fast, scoring 22 points each in the first two quarters, while committing only three turnovers and forcing 10 from. Kentucky. Senior Center Medina O'Cott led the charge with a 12-point 13-rebound double-double, her 21st of the season, which tops the SEC. The team also clamped down on Kentucky's key score, Claire Strack, holding her to 11 points on just eight shots after she dropped 24 last.
