Guys Colorado gets a victory late in Bobby Dodd stadium against Georgia Tech. Great Shiado and Rutgers are in shambles. Holy cow. You pay $105. You pay $1.55 million to UMass to come to Piscataway so that Rutgers could get their ass kicked. Man, you did not belong in the Big Ten. Rutgers does not belong in the Big Ten. That was a shit show last night.

1:01Then they put fireworks on. They were a 30 point favorite last night and they got beat by the worst team at college football last year. UMass hasn't won a game in a while. They were like ranked the worst team at college football and they go in there and they beat Rutgers a big ten team. That's embarrassing. It's embarrassing. My Cades go tonight. They take on Stanford. You know, the first game jitters, I don't know about any of that. If you're a good football program, you're looking forward to playing against people. I hate that stuff when people say, hey, you know, it's the first game. Man, I used to look forward to that stuff. I really, and when when folks start talking like, wow, what a great, I'm like, I don't care who you are. I'm the team you've got to beat, dude. That was the mentality in our football teams. I never went into a football game going, look who we're playing. I went into football games going, hey, you're lucky you're playing us.

And programs got player. Now it's harder today because it's transfer. You don't have that same kind of mentality where you roll into a place. RC 3 is telling me how this is going to be a spectacular season and MVP year.

6:10Okay. This is going to be one of those days where in one of those years, I smell a shit show this year. Woo. Okay. Well, here's what I'm going to start out. Let me say this to you. Let's start it with Sean Manion. This is a massive year for Sean Manion in his coaching career. He's either going to go way of Brian Johnson and Sean Desai or he's going to go way of change, dykein, Kellan Moore. It's either going to be a Grand Slam or colossal disaster. That's what you do when you get the coach in Philly at a coordinating position.

7:11It's either going to be a Grand Slam for you where your career is going to be all in front of you or the best of your career will be behind you. Because if Sean Manion fails, they'll say because he wasn't ready for the job. Think about that. He's pushing everything in for his career. I like it in a way. I like it. He's either going to have a massive impact on his football team or he's going to be to the back of the bus again like every other coach that's ever coached here. Hey, and by the way, the reason and one of the reasons why I've not really been all aboard with this because no first year coordinator that's ever coached in Philly has ever worked out on both sides of the ball.

8:12None of them worked out. Why will this? Why? Because how he sets out? Because Nick sets out? Why will it work? And you know what your response is? Well, can't get any worse. Yeah, I can. Every guy you've had that's never coach has failed and you fired. Hell, you fired Sean to sign in season. You fired Brian Johnson after the season. You demoted Kevin Pettulo. Every single guy that you have ever put in a position to be a coordinator in Philly in the next Ariana era has failed. So Sean Manion's got a lot of baggage behind him to show that he's not going to go down that lane. I don't think that you have the support system with Nick when it comes to that because

9:13Nick's not going to fight for him. He didn't fight for Brian Johnson. He didn't fight for Kevin Pettulo. You know, he may have fought for Kevin Pettulo more than any other guy. Tell him more. Last I checked was never a first year play collar. Kevin, Kevin more. As I said, a first time play collar in Philadelphia. Try listening, Steve. Might help you guy. 10:15KP was ranked 23rd in offense last year. What does Manning have to do for you to call it a success? That's a great call. Either how it looks or at the end of the day, how Jalen looks and wins. His number one priority is to win your ball games too, no? And put your offense in a position to win. Maybe we have a top 10 offense. Run offense with a healthy old line. What are your odds on the first time play collar succeeding? Even if you're here and it's a great take by you. Even if your offensive line is healthy and Barclay is running the ball, what is the difference between 24 and 26?

11:17Kellin Moore was an experienced play collar. He knew how to situational play call. Man, he doesn't. They don't even know if he's going to call a place from the booth or the sidelines yet. Again, anytime that Reyes post anything about this upcoming season, it's theory. It's not actualities. He's never done it. In the Kevin Patullo offense, you mean next. Jaleners still had the offense ranked in the top 10 for points per passing attempt. I will hardly believe the efficiency will bleed into the new scheme. I don't even know what that means. Maybe James and Josh Allen. There's nobody in that Buffalo Bills offense that would start in Philly.

19:30Here. So with Josh Allen retires with zero super balls, the excuse will be that he didn't have a great roster. No, he'll go down as Damirino. Damirino had a great roster on offense. Mark Clayton, Mark Dupor. Damirino, butchered grade offense lineman. Had a top five offense this entire time. Dude, I'm not going to debate Josh Allen with this. This is dumb. Okay. Like I said about Manion. Manion is in a big time year. If this guy shows out, he's going to be a hot commodity. If he doesn't, he's going to be just like Brian Johnson. All right. I got to tell you what I'm expecting.

20:31For Jalen Hertz this year. Dude, I heard John and Zander talking this morning. I don't want Jalen Hertz just to show up this year and give me another Jalen Hertz year. I want him to be spectacular like he was in 22. He's got to be great this year. That's just good. He's got to be great. I want him to be great. And you should too. 3200 yards, 20 touchdowns, eight interceptions is not great. If you look at his career individually, it's not exceptional. Now the touchdown to interception ratio is very good outside of 23.

21:33But the reason that that number so low in interceptions because the passing attempts, he's one of the lowest passing attempt quarterbacks in the last five years starting. So he doesn't really throw the ball at all. Here, let me give you an example of what we're talking about here. Jalen's got to be exceptional this year. For me to give that guy 60 million bucks. That's just decent. He's going to show me he's one of the best players in the game. Let me give you a guy. I don't want to give you the great ones in the sport because those guys are not comparable to Hertz. Let me give you a guy. Let me go Baker Mayfield. Let's go Baker Mayfield. And let's just take him from Tampa. Let's see here. Let's go from Tampa.

22:34566, 576, 13, 1136. And last year he had 543. OK. That's 160, that's 1679 attempts. Now let's take a look at Hertz. The last three years. We'll go three. Jalen Hertz. And Baker Mayfield is not a superstar quarterback by any stretch of the imagination. 454, 361, 11, 8, and 460, 8, 9, 10, 11. Baker Mayfield throws the ball for 579 more attempts.

23:34Over that three years span to what Hertz did. 500 foot, 500 more attempts. And that's just Baker Mayfield. If I took the elite guys like Stafford, it'd be probably a thousand more attempts. What does that tell you? They don't ask the quarterback to carry the football team like these other quarterbacks. He carries that football team. And with the limited rosters that many people have that you guys talk about with Josh Allen. Josh Allen's throwing to people and he may have the same attempts as Hertz, but he has limited talent compared to Hertz. Jalen's in a really good organization in a really great situation. OK. I listen. I would franchise tag him. I would totally franchise tag him for the next two years. 33 years old. Pay him 50, 51 million the next two years.

24:36Dylan Hertz has been to the that's a that's a team accomplishment. Hertz is playing with a dented supermarket cans at this point. Not the montagne. Let's see here. Do you think they're preparing for life after Jalen? No, not yet. I think there's a contingency plan. I do. But I don't think, listen, who asked that question? Do you think there's? Do you think that there is a plan? After Hertz? Forest? No, but how is prepping for it? How we preps for everything? How he doesn't leave any stone unturned. So no, I don't think it's activated,

I'm talking about individual play and individual players. Keep telling me about a great team versus another great team and think that Hertz is the engine to that. He's been a caboose to it. They run the ball and play defense. He situationally plays really well, not consistently. He never has since 22. Stop with that. This is why the dramatic changes. Folks, you know, there's so many changes coming.

26:40That even Sandra doesn't believe it. John's not like, yeah, they're changing. Dan, did you want to say something like the minute they acquire you, they are thinking about life without you. Yes. Because you know why once you start getting more money, once you start getting paid big money, their objective is, can I do it with lesser money? Can I do and get the same result with lesser money than paying that money to that player? Or can my quarterback carry like Kansas City? Kansas City spends no money whatsoever at wide receiver. In Patrick, my home is time as a, as a player there, they've never spent money at Whiteout. They've never spent money at Whiteout.

27:42Like ever. There's never been a big time contract for anybody. They don't go out and spend money like the Eagles do 25 here, 32 here. That's not what they do. You know why? 30:44Well, to you, that means it's a grand slam. If you're going to give discrede- Hertz for when- I'm not discrediting Jalen for winning. Dude, once again, when you have an elite player like Miles Garrett on the Cleveland Browns, it has nothing to do with wins when you look at his skill and how good he is. Miles Garrett on the Browns, Miles Garrett on the Rams. It'll be a completely different look with Miles Garrett on the Rams like it was with Stafford in the Lions. It has nothing to do with the ability of the player. People, this is the perfect example of an idiot here. Matthew Stafford in Detroit was winning nothing but was a good player. It considered one of the better players. He went to a better organization, went better talent, better means, staying cronky, and they won a Super Bowl and they're constantly

That's the logic, idiot. The Eagles win the Super Bowl when Hurt throws 350 times a year and are what a done when he throws 450 times. When how he fails, dramatically, in a draft pick, he goes into the buyer's market and covers that miss with a talented established player. He's done it every single time when he's bombed on a player. He's gone into the buyer's market. Nolan Smith has not paying out to be the 30th pick in a draft. He's not bad. He's not great. He's just a player. So what have they done in two years? They've given up two third round picks. They went out and got Jalen Phillips and they signed a guy to a three-year contract, a $25 million and gave another third round pick up for Jonathan Grenard. Because why did they fail that Bryce Huff? They failed that Nolan Smith. They've hit it seems on Jalen's son. How he's in the buyer's market.

34:50And they can't get cornerback to right. Now they landed on two great ones. In Q and in Cooper. So that covers a lot of the misses in the secondary. I mean, they've had a ton of misses at corner. They've never really drafted well under him at the cornerback spot. Outside of that one year with Q and Cooper. Why receiver as well? They've not been very good. In a bit more on the run game when it matters. Not saying to abandon the quarterback, but lean on the run. Hey, like I said, I want to go back here to this dude. I want I want to hurts to have a spectacular year this year. I want to see something special. I haven't seen anything special in four years. I've seen a game. I'll tell you what, the Super Bowl that he wanted got the MVP. I thought he was okay in it.

35:51I think he was great. I thought he was great. No one he lost. And I thought the defense. I thought just just sweat Milton Williams. I thought those guys were the MVP's in that game. In his career, 51500 yards, 50 touchdowns, 5200 yards, 41 touchdowns, 4100 yards, 36 touchdowns, 4740, 38 touchdowns. Shit, he's only a year older than Hertz. 4183 and 27 touchdowns, 4126 touchdowns. Last year alone, he had one of his worst years. And he still threw for 3587 and 22 TDs. His success rate with throwing the football, he's all time the NFL's best at it.

38:57And yards per game. No quarterback and pro football history has ever thrown for more yards per game than Patrick, my homes. Any wins. And he carries his team with Ju-Juice Mishuster as his receivers. There lies the difference between Patrick, my homes and Jalen Hertz. Hertz has AJ Brown and Devante Smith. He has Ju-Juice Mishuster and then somebody. My homes had oscillatistical season and he's done it with a below average run game and wide receiving court. He's never had the time and a below average running offensive line. He's never had the talent that's in Philly. Like ever. Like ever. Have they ever had the talent Kansas City that they haven't Philly?

And quite frankly, because of Carter's play a year ago, the defense of tackles inside for the Eagles got pushed off the ball quite a bit. They weren't a very good run-stopping team. And I know John McMulley gives you that line. Well, you know, Victor doesn't really care about run, run defense. Well, every game they lost last year they got ran over. I guarantee you, Vic Fangio cares about run defense.

So here, the pro football Hall of Fame overhalls the processing and the procedure. So, let's you committee, reduce from 50 to 25 plus three, not voting participants. So, there's like 28 guys. Eliminates a senior category for players retired at least 25 years. Intrining between three to seven candidates each year from a 15 person pool. Here's the problem though that you have. And Armando Selgaro tweeted this out after I posted it.

1:43:48So, let's just say there's a voter in Chicago. And you've got Lane Johnson and Jason Kelsey up for consideration. And let's just say they take Paul Dahmer with his voting Hall of Fame status away. Why would a guy in Chicago care about Lane Johnson? Why would he care? Why would that guy give a shit about having somebody like it filly go into the Hall of Fame over somebody he's gonna pit from Chicago? Every single city used to be represented by a Hall of Fame selector and a presenter. That's gone. I think what you're gonna have is you're gonna have more people selecting their guys from their teams. And you're gonna be like Lane Johnson getting into Hall of Fame. Unless they keep the voting in filly. And you're as a voter in filly, which I'm assuming there will be.

However, roster bonus, 30, 30, 30, 30, 30, 30.

2:07:28As long as he's on the opening day roster, he gets a 30 million dollar bonus every single year of his career all the way down to 2035. The roster bonus is alone come up to 210 million dollars. I mean, is law, how they're protected? Instead of giving him a guaranteed cash, they gave it to him in a roster bonus. You show up, you get your money. You show up, you get your money. Let's take a look at hurts in that deal with roster bonus. Let's see here. He has no more signing bonus money. There's an option for the club to pay him.

2:08:30No guarantee cash is and no roster bonuses. To get this in 27, his base pay is 1.3 with 22 guaranteed. He's been in the league three more years alongside being an outlier. Well, I don't know that he thinks that I think he believes that the Eagles know how hard it is to get a quarterback. And like we talked about yesterday, I think it's easy to talk about the intricacies of a game where the quarterback doesn't do this as good as this quarterback or maybe he needs to get better in this area or this area. But when you have a contract discussion, that's when I think things have to be more based in reality. And the reality is is that Jalen Hertz wins a lot of football games. And John knows that he's covered this team for a long time. He's covered DNFL for a long time.

2:16:44And to simply just say, he doesn't pass the ball like Joe, Joe burrow. So we got to go and get a new guy. I think it's short-sighted. It's not to say that they're not having discussions and they're not thinking about some of these things. I think when push comes to shove, how we understand this league, how we understand the way contracts work, how we understand the challenges of building a roster. And there's barely 20 starting quarterbacks in this league, let alone 32 plus. And to move on from a guy who's this successful, I just don't think feels realistic to John. And in many ways, I agree with him. 100%. I mean, again, like I said to you, you want to sit here and just, oh, it doesn't look as good or maybe we need to be better in the past or Hertz has to do a better job here. That's fine and dandy. But you're talking about replacing a guy that's one nearly 70% of his ball games in the NFL.

2:17:45Has gone the Eagles to national championship wins. Has won the NFC East, I think, is a two or three times now in his short career. And he's got a super bowl to boot. Now, granted, some of those are team accolades, but there's no world that I'm living in where I don't think the quarterback deserves a great deal of credit for that. And the conversation with contract is very interesting, but I'm of the belief they're going to give them a contract, man. I don't think they move on from this player. Unless it's really ugly this year, I don't see it. Here's what I'm expecting from him. Well, dude, if you want me to give you all that, Hertz has got a play spectacular this year. He can't give me the option to have a dual threat. Wait, a dual lane discussion. Do we move on? Do we not move on? However, like you have said to me about howie, do you agree that howie looks at everything,

2:18:48whether to move on from him, whether or not to move on from him? I'm not saying they want to move on from him. But he anticipates these things. He's working on both of it. What does the Eagles look like in two years without Hertz? What does the Eagles look like with Hertz? Do you think that's fair? Yeah, I think it's definitely fair. I mean, he's a hundred percent. That's any GM. That's any GM that's worth it. That part of it, I think, is where people are delusional from a fan perspective. And it's natural in a way, but GMs think about literally every scenario, like for every plant, that's not just a quarterback. And they probably think about those scenarios more for the quarterback because of the importance of the position. But that doesn't change the truth about how hard it is to get a quarterback that can win at such a high level in the NFL. So I think he's definitely thinking about the scenarios. I would not sit here and tell you today that it's definitive one way or the other. Like, I do think if they, let's say this year blows up.

2:19:52Let's say this offense stinks. Let's say this team stinks after AJ Brown and with this new coordinator. Let's say the Eagles have completely fallen from supervalent contention, like they were in the last five years. Well, that's a little bit harder to give a quarterback a new contract amid those circumstances than if you have a fifth or six, I guess it would be six, six straight playoff appearances again. You know what I mean? Like, you're not moving on from that guy. Now, I think the other part of Hertz is, you know, it's not similar to other scenarios, like, for example, Sam Darnel. Like, that's a name that I think it's used a lot. And it's like, well, they moved on from him after winning them 14 games and the difference there is he was a journeyman to get to Minnesota. Right? He wasn't drafted there. He wasn't paid there originally. It's a much different circumstance in my opinion to look at somebody like that and say, oh, Minnesota moved on. Well, they never invested the level of eggs in that basket to force you to stay.

2:20:54You know, sometimes that's what it takes as a team has to have a lot of eggs in your basket and they stay there. So I think Hertz is a completely different scenario for the Eagles than many of these other ones. And just the contracts that you see get done. Like, for example, I mean, do you think Brock Perties, the reason that the Niners win? No, but I think he's, I think he's part of the reason why they win. I agree. Well, so you don't think you're the part of the reason needles. I do. I do. I do. Offensively, I guess he's a little more limited from a schematic standpoint. Well, no, no, no, no, the conversation on skill set versus importance in the system. There's a two different things. I mean, Perties spreads the ball out better. He's got a better vision of seeing. That's a whole different conversation. Well, there is a different, they both do impact the game. But to me, like, if you're, if, if teams around the league and I don't, I think Perties just one example, you look at guys like Trevor Lawrence, you look at, I mean, look at the list of top 15 big quarterbacks, guys.

2:21:54Jaylin clears that threshold for me. He just does. He, he, that doesn't mean it's going to be the greatest. It doesn't mean he's going to be the best quarterbacks in sliced bread. It doesn't mean he's going to be the most worth it or your bank for buck is best there. But contracts are contracts in the NFL. They always go up. And I think he's cleared the threshold, you know, to, to, right now to be paid. But again, I do, I will, where I will. Relent to you is. I think this year matters more than John things. I do. Do you think that this is going to be a contract where they'll want to retire him an eagle? Or do you think that again, do you think Jaylin hurts the tires and fill it up for you, Eagle? Well, I think that's a tough question because of the nature of the way he plays the game. You know, like, if you look at, like, for example, not Tom's an extreme example, but like even Tom Brady didn't retire a patriot. Like we can't get too caught up in that. And that's the part of it. And Rogers. I mean, basically everybody, Peyton Manning didn't retire a cold.

2:22:56I mean, none of them really retire where they are. And I think it's even more complicated by the way that Jaylin plays the game because how we is this as good of a GM as he is. He's not a football focused GM, right? He's very analytical, financially driven. And he's great at it. But when you think like that as opposed to thinking like a football coach, if you will, or somebody like a football guy, like a John Lynch, maybe, you see it differently. And he's probably like, he's dual threat. Dual threats don't have quite the level of shelf life. You know, their careers technically or typically go in different ways. And the Eagles will probably try and extract value out of that rather than see it through to the end. Now, I think the other side of that is whether people listen to him right now or Jaylin Hertzfan or not, doesn't matter. Jaylin is on the brink of Philadelphia superstar lore.

2:24:02And he's already a superstar, but if they win a second championship, a second superbowl, which is a tough thing to do. But if they get to that point, he will be potentially one of the most accomplished athletes in Philadelphia history. And certainly because of the emphasis put on the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, individually, probably not because, you know, there's obviously great talents, you know, Julie's Irving, Mike Smith. Well, there's crazy talents. I'm talking about the importance of the team to the city and the importance of the quarterback position to that team. Jaylin will have oversaw and been the quarterback of the most successful productive error for a city that is starved for championships and sports success. If he reaches that level, dude, you almost accept a couple bad years just to have him be a, you know, be an eagle legend, you know, and I could see Laurie doing that. He'd be in a conversation with Bobby Clark.

2:25:02Right. And you know, Bobby boxed a great name, by the way, Ty. It's all time named. Absolutely here. You think this 2026 fell on the Philadelphia Eagles team goes further than last year's team? I mean, I think that's the plan, but it's, you know, I think the defense is going to be better. And the reason I would say yes would be more focused on the run game and less focused on the past game. I mean, I know we've talked so much about the past game, but dude, if we take, leave the running game to the side for a second. You got a first year play, caller, a third year coach, overall coach. This guy's never forget, you know, Kevin Kutula for as much as we hated him. He was like a coach in the NFL for like 12 years. Now, there was a lot in a dumb positions, but Sean Manion just hung up the cleats three years ago. This is our year being a coach wearing, you know, a shirt and jacket on the side, or a shirt and polo on the sidelines. It's right. That's not rid of your very best weapon in the past game, whether you're gambling or you like age or not, that can't be disputed.

2:26:05And you're trying to get better. I mean, that's, that's a tough needle to thread. So if, but if they're better on first and after they run the ball more successfully, that's going to create much better, better, you know, scenarios where they can be successful passing the ball. So as you tell me, what's the success rate for an offense and third and four or third and 12? You know, if they get to that, they're going to be much better. And there, I think the defense will be tremendous. And that would make them a better team this year. I'm going to say they're going to go further than last year. Okay. So then round one of the playoffs this year. Okay. So you think they're going to be overall more balanced this season? I think that's the hope that's the plan. But it's hard to speak on. I think the defense is going to be tremendous. And then you got to wonder, you know, did they get balance in round one? I think they're a wild card team again. Well, I think there'll be a division winner. So now I don't think they're a wild card team. But you know, the wild card round, I don't think they're going to get the buy. You know, I think there's better teams in the NFC right now. Look, you know, the Rams, I think, you know, are obviously up there. See, you know, the buy is always tricky because that has more to do with the war of attrition.

2:27:07Like the injuries and shit like that. You know, I mean, so you really, I mean, you're talking division winner. You're in the conversation to being a guy that's going to be a person that could be a person that could be a person that could be a person that could be a person. Yeah. And then you've got to go into the play of game. The thing with the play of game last year that's so interesting is, you know, basically all the problems that we bitched about all year long were kind of right there at the forefront of that play of game. That's right. More story and outs, more inept offense, you know, inability to run the football effectively, inability to put some of the board, inability to stay on the field. You know, and the defense held their own for what they could. They also did get beat up pretty good in that game. I remember, you know, Shanahan, I think their first drive, they went right down the field and scored a touchdown on Queen Young Mitchell, which was a surprise. I think they go further this year, but, you know, I think everybody collectively has to do a better job at doing their job. You know, remember yesterday we talked about individuals that you got to do your job in order for the big picture to be achieved. I think offensively everybody has to have accountability in that area and that should lead

2:28:10to better results. But the past game I'm concerned about, I mean, you lose AJ. You got a new coordinate. I mean, that's that's tough to move on. Absolutely. I mean, Trabizki wasn't that awful, but I mean, the rest of those guys were like, they've never really had a big time player at that position in Chicago.

2:29:11Citigimmick. Trabizki's problem is he was just way overdrafted. I mean, he wasn't ever a top tier talent like that, but it kind of reminds me of J. Jim McCarthy. DQ, in my opinion, 26th will be Hertz's best Russian year. He may not want to run, but that do wants to win no question, especially after how he's draft disaster. I'm all right with that. Yeah, but I don't think he's going to run as much because of the contract movement. Yep, I do. Yeah, see, that's where you know, why would I put myself in harm's way to tend an opportunity at getting a long term contract? It doesn't make that doesn't make business sense. Yeah, I think this is where I think, you know, me, I take your word for this more because that is a big thing. You know, I think fans sometimes detach themselves from the realistic nature of contracts and playing it. Well, this is a job. This is a profession. You know, these guys need to be paid and they want to be paid and they're not going to put high end though. And the consequences are great. You know, it's Hertz takes a bad injury. He'll never get that type of contract. So here's one more.

2:30:12DQ says, if McCoy ever gets off the line versus press coverage, you think the ego's carry him off the field like, they're damn dead. Like Rudy, like Rudy. I love it, but guys getting off the line and press coverage, dude. I don't see it. Hey, one last one before I let you go and go to Mike North, you think they're going to at the end of the year? You think they're going to let Tyler Steen run? You think they let him go into the off season? Well, I think that's too early to determine because what if it's Landon's last year in Lane, and well, Lane presumably is done. I mean, you just shed two massive contracts on that old line. I think they would keep steen. I mean, if you think next year replacing three offensive line, that's going to be brutal. So I think they would keep steen if Landon goes. If Landon stays, I think steam would probably be gone. Because remember, he's going to want huge money, dude. He's going to get big money on the money. He's going to want 20 million bucks. So I want to get Mike North's thoughts on Brian Erlacher and his career. Let's bring him in. The man, the myth, the legend, the man from Chicago, our friend Mike North, he joined just now. How you doing, bro? I'm doing great, buddy. How you doing? What's going on, Danny? Good, my friend. Give me in a synopsis. You're take away on Erlacher's career. What kind of football player you had? He had a great career. Well, he had a heck of a career. He was a safety converted to a linebacker. He joined the Legion of guys like Bill George, single Terry, Dick Buckis. And you know, he was a different type of guy where Buckis knew where the ball was. He would, you know, be waiting for you. Erlacher would chase you down. There was a difference. But they couldn't put together.

2:33:14Erlacher was not a hitter like a guy that would destroy people. Buckis was that type of player. And as far as Buckis being 35, that's a joke. There are kids, these people who must have done doing that. That's a joke. Sayers 30, nice is a joke. That Buckis is top 10. I'm sorry. I saw, I've seen every guy play from the 1962. If you want to have male cheerleaders, have them like they do in college or in what world does that? What do you mean? Don't dress them up as chicks. You know, give them their own gear and all that, right? Like they do in college. Yeah. And if you want to hire four or five guys, you know, the back street boys and those groups in sync and the temptations, they all did dances. They didn't dance like Tuesday. Well, okay, they dance like man, they dance like that.

2:36:20Now, when they put this in front of Roger Goodell and they showed him the picture. Here's the here's one of the cheerleaders. Do you think we should do this? He's got palms and he's like this. Okay. What do you think and Roger Goodell thinks that men dance like this? That's how he perceives in his head. So this is becoming a big issue for you here. I'm seeing like, you know, you're talking about jail and hurts being a tough quarterback and everything. I'm going to look over there. And then you look over and you see a guy in the dress with pop-poms, right? What's your problem right now, right? Is that what you're saying? I don't understand how you can hand a man a man would take up their pop-poms. No. I mean, do like the back street boys did. Dance like the temptation. Dance like that.

2:37:20My father. He danced like this. What? He's never removed his legs. That's how men dance. Cheerleaders in Philly, male. Hands like palm palms. They got a great cheerleady crowd too, man. But they're trying to keep it low key because the season starts next week. We're getting ready. I'm worried about the first game already. I mean, you know, over that Carolina, they're not going to be easy. I mean, they played the Rams in the death last year. I mean, you know, also, I'm saying the mic. They beat the Packers last year too. Yeah, we're two and a half points. I mean, two and a half points of bread. Are you kidding me? I thought we'd all into the Super Bowl over here. You know, and I'm already because nobody knows what's going to happen. We're getting bigger. What's the expectations for them this year? Why I'd like to see them finish first. I'd like to see the passing game get better. But we're worried here. I mean, in Chicago, we're worried because of our defense. I really believe the best player on our defense ended up getting hurt, Kobe Bryant. And he's out for the season. So that was a damaging blow. And we have no receivers have caught a ton of balls.

2:39:26So we got new receiving court, DJ Morris Grant. But we're excited. We'll see what happens. Now they got to line up all the big talks over. OK. I see that your guy, our guy, my guy. Why does he's my guy? He's really not your guy. He's not Sanders guy. Jaylen Hertz is my guy. If anybody knows Jaylen with lips near him, tell him Mike North on the big sales show stands up for a weekly gets pummeled. But now I'm hearing the length. 2:40:28on Super Bowl throws for 2900 yards in 18 touchdowns. The last time I heard that was Sid Gilliam back in 19. I did it. But it's funny. Barkley didn't take any heat last year. It hurts. Did. So if the beat all end up to the year before and got all the praise and the Campbell suit commercials, where was big sales to fire on Barkley? Because I don't remember you getting on his ass when he underperformed badly this year. I know you know what everyone in Philadelphia's excuse was. The old line was injured. Oh, for Christ's sake. Oh, no, you should hear that's the biggest. But the excuse would be the year before because the old line was healthy, the open holes were that a guy that a truck could drive through. Yeah. And they lost Kelsey too. But I'm just I get ready. I like the bears and the Eagles. I that's it. I get I get focused on those two because I want to see this kid get to another, you know, get to another playoff playoff round. Philadelphia is going to be fine. I make sure I think that division's got some questions.

2:41:30Jaden Daniels is he going to be back to form? Is Dallas finally going to get off over the home? Can can Philadelphia continue to to work its magic and get into the playoff? There's a lot of intriguing questions in that in that division. Big time. Mike, I had somebody that wanted me to ask you this that was a former person that lived in Chicago. And he said this to me, he goes, sales ask Mike North this because this is what all my friends in Chicago are feeling right now. There's a buzz going on in Chicago right now. Yeah. And it's with the Cubs. Oh. And it's with PCA. Yes. And everybody is now energized. Yes. With that baseball team and it's energizing the city in a time when you just said they're starting the football season next week. Yeah. Have kind of grabbed the city's attention. Is that fair? Yes. There. And PCA, I called him as MVP mid June on my ESPN 1000 show

2:42:35with. And I just saw O'Tini starting to get that slip. But he wasn't pitching blah, blah, blah. He's eight and one. I get it. But even with John Smoltz at the other night. For PCA to beat O'Tini, he had to put together one hell of a year. And he said, that's the one he put that together. The Cubs are buzzed. The white socks are in a playoffs. I think if it ends today, there are three games in. The Bears are a backseat right now. Now, next Sunday, the Bears will not be a backseat. OK. And if the Bears lose next Sunday, then Mondays had wines won't be the Cubs big discs of the socks, the deck. It's still a bear time. But we are excited here because we have two baseball teams so far that could get into the playoffs. The Cubs got a four game lead in the wild card. That's not safe. You still got 20, 20, 20, 20. I've seen teams lose four or five games in a week. And then you got the white socks, or three games up

2:43:35and first in Cleveland's losing today. So the wild card races have been tremendous for baseball. And I didn't want. I liked it when they had the three division winners in a one wild card in each. I liked it when they had eight. It was special. But now you've got all these teams that are jockeying to get into the wild card race. And the Cubs right now are behind Philadelphia. So they wouldn't get the advantages that they would get if you were the first seed in the wild. Mike, I'll tell you, though, I don't feel the same. Not listen. I know after the fact, we know the story now. It's a whole different conversation now. You really think that PCA has the same storyline going that Sosa had back in the day. Now, be fair before you answer, there was also McGuire involved in that. So you had another guy that was involved. It was a home run chase. Man, I remember Wrigley Field in Chicago. They were going nuts over this guy.

2:44:40Mike, but the juice in Chicago was for, hey, you want to think? Oh, yeah, the juice at the time. But everybody was in denial. He ruined the record books. Look, everybody, you know, I like Sammy. I interviewed him with the sax when he was 180 pounds. He ended up 225. He never looked. Mark, you asked Mark, Mark Grace never saw him lift away. Okay? So he's a fraud. And so it was McGuire. I don't understand. I think I'd like to sit down with Barry Bonds and ride your club. I really would and say, well, easy. It's easy because you wanted to be the home run team. No, no, it's easy, Mike. Here's why. Well, when those guys started juicing, okay, when those guys started juicing, whenever that was, what happened was they looked at it and said, do I want the Hall of Fame or do I want a quarter of a billion dollars in my pocket?

2:45:42And they chose the quarter of a billion dollars to have that in their pocket to extend their careers. Because if you look at the numbers from the ages of 37 through the times of the 45, they were unbelievable. Nobody has ever seen and nobody's seen it to this day. No, but wait, they looked what they did was they compromised. They go, okay, screw your Hall of Fame. I'm going to take the quarter of a billion dollars. I think they did. I will say this, get the reason I said, Clemens and Berences, they were already on their way to the Hall of Fame. They were and they had, and they would have gotten their Oh, I see you're saying, why would you compromise? Well, because so so, the one player out of everybody, I exposed, I'm the one who exposed one and I exposed so early. But so is the one depended fitted off at the most. Because he was scrawny. He was never going to be what he was.

2:46:45And boom, one day he woke up. Bonds just looked like a freak. His trainer went to jail because he would not testify. It's all murky. I feel bad because Frank Robinson was a fabulous ball player. All these guys that did it without steroids were fabulous ball players and the records got skewed. So I only got some McGuire had acne. Hey, I did. So I understand what you're saying, Dan. It just was a bad, it's a bad scene and it's screwed up the record books. But that's okay. I mean, baseball is going to strike next year. They're going to be gone. And I'm going to miss the games because I watch games every night. I don't know what we're going to be doing during the summer time. I bought this, Mike. I'm going to give you another one here. I'll tell you what you do that. I'll tell you why Major League Baseball is also accountable for this. So Major League Baseball, the reason why they implemented a steroid policy, which they never had until 2003,

2:47:46I think it was. Right. The reason why they never implemented it. All of a sudden now, the highest paid position in baseball became what? The D H. The D H was starting to make an excess of $15 million. All of a sudden, you're starting to pay for a guy who was hitting you 32 home runs. Guess what? You were paying back then $10 million. Well, when a guy's hitting 42 to 50 home runs, you know what you're doing? You're paying that guy $20 million. Well, Major League Baseball owners went, hold up. We're paying for these inflated numbers. We're going to implement a steroid policy. So then after that, when they saw attendance and viewers ship go down, what did Baseball and the owners do? They juiced the bats, these torpedo bats. Then they started juicing the baseball because they wanted the numbers to go back up again. I mean, at the end of the day, Mike, you know what? Major League Baseball is also accountable. Oh, I'm not denying that. We're not having a steroid policy. You know what? I didn't understand.

2:48:46But it was a federal law back in 92, 93. It was. It was especially when I understand where you're coming from. I understand where you're coming from on that. And so, but you know what? Do I think these guys took, yes, I do. Of course. Oh, yeah. And they like the Congress. They perjured themselves. OK, so here's the thing. Bond's hitting, let's just say 52 home runs one year. Well, I'd say about 10% of those are probably going to be warning track shots. So then you're probably talking about 40, which he was hitting anyway, earlier in his career. So I mean, that's probably what it did. It added probably 10 to 15 more, 10 to 15%. He got walked so many times because they knew that he was built. Plus the armor he was wearing at that time. Hey, date, he figured it out. That's fine. They're not in the hall fame. And none of them should be in the name. Right. I don't understand how he never he'll never be. I don't know how he keeps getting perks. Get jobs and major majorly baseball. You're the biggest fraud of a law.

2:49:47And you're the main announcer. So I know they overlook and then they put them on the desk with Oh, it's ridiculous. With jeanery's on the desk. He's with jeanery's with big papi. He's another guy. I mean, you never know what he was doing. It's crazy. Absolutely, man. So, hey, give me, do this for me. Give me your top 10 NFL. Give me your, give me your, I don't want to go that deep with you. Give me your top four NFL teams right now heading into this year that you're looking at to make some noise that could possibly win a Super Bowl. Well, what I've been doing is getting rid of teams. Okay. That people like. I heard Adam shine from the CBS network. No, I'm well. And he's a really, I think he's a good good, good, good radio guy. He said he doesn't think because the pickers have issues. Let's face it. He doesn't think the pickers are going to win more than six games. Now, I wouldn't go that far, but you're basing things on Josh Jacobs

2:50:51with this situation. You've lost a couple players. The receiving court isn't all that good. I just happened to, I don't understand why the packers wins are so high. I think that the first coach fired could be Dan Campbell at Detroit. And I'll tell you why last place, last year, if they get off to a two and five, remember how cute it was when he would kept going forward on four pounds the first year. I think them losing Ben Johnson took the aura off that sideline that they had even with Dan Campbell's to head coach. It just didn't seem like the Detroit team last year. And I think people are putting a lot of pressure on golf and that organization, especially in that division to perform against. So I got Detroit and Green Bay right now tearing. I would say that everybody seems to like the New York Giants. And I'm going to tell everybody this right now.

But they insecure their offensive line major issues under offensive line. They have a first place schedule. Didn't have a target on their back. Patriots or Seattle better year. Season went total. There's some short one that went over nine and a half wins of the Patriots up to 10 and a half. I still think Seattle's a slightly better team now. Oh, that's that's a good conflict. That's a conflict. I mean, if I had the better, which I don't want to bet it, but if I had it better, I would say the Patriots have a slightly better season, even though both teams would right around 1011. I got to tell you and you tell me if you think I'm wrong here. I think bet to house on the 49ers in that game in Australia. You're flying up the day before the game and you're going to play in that time difference where the 49ers have already taken off like a week ago to get there and play in this game.

3:23:00I don't know, man. I tell you what got by the way, I flew to Frankfurt and I had to play a game in Frankfurt. We had to play like a couple days later and that was just serious like an airline lag and all that and the drag that you have that you're going there. I mean, man, it was just a nightmare to play overseas. We did well, but still that's a big time trip to have to fly. Does that play into you looking at that game and how their travel arrangements are? That travels huge in the NFL. One of the greatest stats ever was on a short week playing Thursday night. The road team coming in that travel more than I think 1500 miles. They were like only 13 against the Vegas number against the spread. So yeah, I showed you. I mean, anyone who's flown for five or seven or nine hours when you're off to playing the time. I'm going to Greece and I was beat up for two the next two days. I was like a nine half hour flight. So yeah, definitely, you know, goes into our handicap and the numbers that thought three and a half. The region game. I mean, a rancher loaded man. I don't know how good that team is going to be.

3:24:01You know, they could exceed all expectations. Just blow everyone out or I mean, they had some issues, you know, the defense side of the football last year. Down the stretch and that was the biggest knock on them. And they got miles. Garren. They got an end of Donald coming back obviously, but it doesn't mean they're going to have a big year. The mission game plus three and a half. San Francisco probably the right side. I mean, they're so expect to have one of the best offenses in the NFC and the NFL when the best played callers in the business in Shanahan. Yeah, it should be close. It's a field goal. If you get that hope, take the 49ers plus the hook. Yeah, dude, I got to tell you, man. I'm looking forward to that there and seeing what they do there with that. How about give me three outliers that you think can make it to a conference champ. Give me the taxes. What are you making the taxes potentially getting to an AFC championship game? I mean, their defense is the scariest in the NFL. Their offense and line got slightly better.

3:25:02C.J. Straub should have a better, you know, last few seasons, he was low banged up. Hopefully he's a little healthier. If that offensive line can just be mediocre, this is a team that can go very deep into playoffs and possibly to the Super Bowl. My son loves me better than a 20 to one, 20, he's become sharply and I am actually in the business. He's studying 20 hours a day. I'm only studying 10 now. So he loves the taxes to win it all. I think they win the division. I think the Jags, they did them dirty, which are scheduling. They don't want to toughest strength schedules and they took one of their home games away. Jags and they got play overseas against the Texas and Wembley. So I don't think the Jags want to division the Colts. They're great top five offensive line. Shakedighted and done a great job. They have many times over their highlights. Who knows how good that team is, but I think the Texas are the cream of the crop in that division. Yeah, they can definitely make a deep run if everyone stays healthy. I mean, that defense is just so scary. You know what? I don't want you until next week to tell me and we'll talk more about the Eagles and the commanders.

3:26:07But do you think that game has a chance to be close because it's a divisional game. It's the opening game. And also again, I know Washington is just completely beat up. You know, they got a lot of players that are injured. They don't really have a lot of seemingly superstars on that team outside the quarterback. You think they can make that game close next Sunday? That was a divisional game first gave the season. You got new offensive coordinator and thought I'll feel. You know, there's a lot of sharp betters that they think the commanders don't go to season one. They actually bet they're under the season one. I think it was what eight eight and a half think it was. So they're not expected much from that commander's team. Eagles offense scares me a little bit. I mean, if you look at the first three games of the season, which are the most important games to me in the NFL because if you start off three now, you make a playoff 75% of time. So the Eagles got kind of lucky there. They played the commanders at nobody's high on the times got a little bit better. But do they win six games? Maybe then they go to Chicago. I should call this could be a tough game.

3:27:07But everyone's expected expected the bears to request a little bit. Now, these three defense is where like the worst in the NFL is the past and the run last year. But if you look at this, there's a there's a there's a status. So odds on the most passing T. T. is over the first three weeks of the season. And there's 21 quarterbacks. I haven't jailed hurts. Wow. You're playing like the three worst passing defense is that we're in the league last year. So that that kind of it's like a little bit of a predictive indicator to me that this equals offense is going to struggle. Then you look at most Russian TDs after first three weeks in St. Juan Barclays right around the night of 10, which OK. And then you look at most receiving TDs after first three weeks. And there's 47 guys ahead of Dallas got it who's ahead of the Montess meant on that list. So who's going to score for this equals to and if Lane Johnson gets banged up. Oh my god. They're in serious trouble. So first three weeks are going to be a huge tell this equals to do.

3:28:08So playing some pretty bad defenses. And if there are offense struggles the first three weeks, so I get ugly or down the road. Man, that's a great takeaway on that there. No question about it. Let's go to some of the college games now. To me, the schedule looks like it's one of these like practice squad weekends. There's a couple games really that kind of stand out, but not really a lot because you see like there's guys and there's some teams in here. You know, Boise State and Oregon. You know, you're looking at 24 and a half and you're looking at I think the over under 51 and a half. And it's in Eugene if I'm not mistaken. Oregon's one of those football teams this year that I think you play for the national championship. I like what Dan landing does. Boise State has always had really great talent. They've got a lot of good football players, but that Oregon team might be primed and ready for the first time to international championship in a long time. How do you see that when would you take the points and would you take Oregon in this?

3:29:08Now, I mean, I haven't bet it yet. But the only way I could bet the game is the bet the favorite word. And this is a team that when the sharper sports betters in the world, but I know he took the win at all and I wanted down to seven and a half to one seven to one of some sports books. The only two teams I had of them are Notre Dame and Ohio State and at some sports books, Texas is either have the same odds as Oregon or slightly ahead. So this is definitely a team that can get to the national championship game. And the first week of the season, I'd rather go with the better coach, the better team even though it is over three touchdowns. I didn't bet it yet, but if I had the better, probably take over getting that right. About my cane tonight against Stanford 24 and a half over and under 46 and a half. Now the Cains have to go 3000 miles. Yeah, two Palo Alto to play and I hate that, man. And I've got to tell you, I'm going to give you a little insight here. My Amy every time that they've gone on the West Coast and been in the Pacific time coast.

3:30:10I can't remember the last time we went out there and won. I think it was San Diego State like back in 1990s. We're not very good at going that far away. Now it's game one. It's a whole different makeup. That's different team is not that awful, especially on defense. They're not that bad. Would you take the points and the Cains in this one? It feels like a lot of points game opened up. I think 21 and a half. It's up to 24 and a half, 25 and some spots. It's the first game of the season. I never mind my Amy ranked what 78th nationally on returning production. So it could take a few weeks for this team to really start clicking on all cylinders and develop some chemistry. It's a long trip. Like you said out there, big travel game, but the hurricanes they spent a ton of money in the off season. So the town's definitely there. The new quarterback, Mesa, I mean, a great year at Duke. What he's for almost 4,000 yards. What I really like about him is the only through six picks. But I think it's a downgrade from Carson back.

3:31:10And the reason why I'm saying that is if you dig deeper into his numbers, he kind of struggled a little bit against some of the better past defense as he faced last season. I mean, they lost the Virginia, which ranked at the 29th nationally in opponent yards for past attempt. They lost by 70. I think it scores 3417 and that's only through for 200 yards in that game. Cancel noise who was ranked like 45th or 50th against the past. He played slightly better. He threw for two touchdowns of one in the section, but Duke still got blown out. It was 4519. And the final game of the season against Virginia again. And I did beat him at overtime, but I think that's only through for like a buck 90. So against some of the better past defenses last season, he really didn't shine. I think he has a fourth best out of one of the highs, but now and obviously it's going to be under a much behind a much better offensive one in Miami than he was at Duke. But again, Miami lost what three or four starting offensive lineman. That's hard to replace. Two exceptional edge rushers to the defense aside.

3:32:14You know, with all that said, I mean Stanford isn't exactly scam anybody. I mean, they're expected to win maybe four games this year. They just beat Hawaii. Yeah, I don't think they did my army here, but I guess I see Miami dominate again. Where they'd be in a 42 17 last year. Yeah, but I'm telling you 24 and a half. It's not a point one. I think that's right on the button, man. I mean, that's staying for quarterback. I think he's an upgrade from last year. You bet he is. I mean, they already got a win over Hawaii and I think when they put up 37 points last year, they didn't score 30 points all year last year. That's right. Offix is already scoring more points. I just think Miami has too much town here. Yeah, the numbers are added, but the game yet. I kind of like the over over 46 and a half. I think Stanford could put up a couple of maybe score a couple touchdowns. And I think Miami offensively still put up a ton of points.

3:33:14But I think my struggle early that game because of the travel and like I said, a return of production ain't there. So we take them a couple weeks to get a pro he's and get that chemistry going. So it's a lot of points. What do you make of Indiana this year? Now look, I mean, it's a ton of points against North Texas. And I'm not really asking you to break it down. I mean, because I do think that North Texas program out of the American conference is a pretty good football program. It is a good program. They lost their starting quarterback who ended up transferring output. He's that's a really good football program. I think Indiana does a great job. But what are you expecting from that team? The ranked sixth, I think, sixth and seventh nationally. You know, are they right there again for another potential national championship? I mean, you use the most impactful player in the football field in Mendoza. Now they got a talk under back. I think they got the six best odds to win it all at plus I can plus nine. I expect in the regress. I think it's going to be as good as they were last year. It's almost impossible.

3:34:15I mean, they were great team. They were best in football as you said. It's hard to come back. Other teams got better. It really depends on injuries, but I don't I don't see it being a crazy one last year. About Georgia this year, what do you what's your take on them? I mean, you know, really if you look at the South Eastern conference teams this year, I mean, what teams really stick out? I mean, Bama looks like a good team. I wouldn't say they look like the Saban teams. Texas A&M, I think they're going to be a good team. Texas Tech that get the day loose Brandon sores me where they were hoping was going to be coming in as a transfer and taking over that team. I thought maybe again, now that's big 12, but I'll stick there with the SEC. I mean, where's the SEC team as a Texas this year that you think that's the team? Is that the best team in the South Eastern conference? I mean, man, he's got the second or best odds of winning the high season with CJ car. So they got the quarterback position. They're loaded. They spent a ton of money. Alex use kind of scary. I think they get third best odds of winning the SEC plus 850, but Georgia still the odds on favor plus 260 to win the SEC.

3:35:20Then it's Texas plus 320 then LSU 850. And on the outside looking in the South Bama and other team, the sleepers are well with that defense and material coming back. That's a scary team. You can get them a 10 to 1 win the SEC 30 to 1 win at all. And with that kind of, you know, for Ojus defense, if some of the other teams that had ever get banged up or slip off, this is a team that can make slipping and playoffs and surprise a lot of people. But I think Georgia still the cream with crop in the SEC. It's them in Texas. Boy, the game of the weekend has got to be the bag. You know, you know that Tony Montana scene in Scarface? The bad guy and the bad guys link Kiffin and he's bringing it to Clemson. And boy, I'll tell you what I do want your take on this game because it's 10 points. Clemson rolls in LSU's favorite by 10. I guess they're expecting at least it to be in the mid 20s when it comes to the game because it's 50 and a half on the board.

3:36:21I'm looking at. I don't know, man. I like that Clemson team rolling in there. I got to tell you, I don't know what I'm going to expect with LSU. LSU's ranked 11th right now in the country. It's an ABC game. It's entire stadium. That's valid. What do you like? I mean, game over the 11 and a half to present. I'm going to be 11 and a half just some sharp money took Clemson. It's down to 10, 9 and a half, 10 and a half. It's not the taller. It was not an after 10 and a half depending on which sports book to use. The total actually jumped from 49 to 51. There's a bunch of 50 and a half out there. So they're expecting some points in this game. All the public money. Last time I checked, there's all over LSU about 65% tickets. The early money is taking LSU and you can't blame the public. They got the seven best odds on the national championship at 17 to one. All the hype revolve around them. Clemson and really people are going to expect much from his team. I think your odds are one of all is 135 to one. They got the fifth best odds of when the ACC. So they're, you know, I don't know how good this team is going to be.

3:37:24Unless they're going to be sneaky good out of. I mean, the odds makers don't expect much from Clemson this year. And I hate to say, but I think when Kiffin's team is the right side here, anything under 10, I mean, they got 61% of their returning production coming back. They spent the fourth to fifth amount of money, most amount of money. You know, a cost full pull this season. I mean, it would be great to have 10 points in your back pocket with Clemson, but Kate Covements gone 50% return production for Clemson overall. Their quarterback, Christopher Vazina, is that his name? He's kind of an unknown commodity. He only had one start on his belt. He started against SMU last year. And even though SMU in let up like 20 points per game last season, they're ranked 135th in the nation against the past. So, you know, I don't know what to expect from their quarterback. Alex, he's defense projected to be if not the best one, the best in cost full pull this season. They're supposed to have the best defense in the SEC.

3:38:26And advanced on lick rankings have anywhere from the third best defense of the fifth best defense and all accounts for fall. I mean, I can't take the dog. You know, there's some short one in Clemson. You know, if the game gets to nine, I probably look to take LSU here. I kind of believe in the hype a little bit about that. Hey, hey, that guy, man, is the ultimate bad guy. My question is going to be get this. So here's what you got to look at. So if he puts those pro players on his team for Saturday and they come back on the injunction and it rules against him. Do they lose the game? They not only lose the game. They forfeit the season. Wow. It's a big roll. Yeah. So I don't because they'll be playing an eligible players in each and every single one of the games. Yeah, because today get this today. They had to submit the roster. And if that player is on those rosters,

3:39:27they'll forfeit every game because those players are on the roster. That's an SEC role. Wow, that's big. I think it's a big one. 10.2. I hear you, but my question would be, is that really a hill that lane wants to stand on? No, I don't think it's going to start this. Listen, listen, we don't know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I agree. We always talk about bullshit walks. It's a lot of things. I should keep boy. I'll tell you I got a couple more here for you. You know the coolest thing about Notre Dame and you know what this page because I hate this place. But what I told my goal like this yesterday, I hate him. I mean, that him, but I hate Notre Dame. You know, but I really like Marcus Freeman. He's awesome. The coolest things that they get to do, like they're going to be at Lambo Field on Saturday on Sunday. Okay, I mean, Notre Dame plays at like Yankee Stadium. They played Lambo. I mean, you get to play at release on really great places. Plus, their bar and his really outstanding. I've played there and they got Wisconsin.

3:40:30I think it's less than a three touchdown favorite here. Wisconsin's a hell of a program though. Do you take Notre Dame into points in this one? I mean, if you look at how Notre Dame has played over the last couple of years, it's struggled the first week of the season. Yeah. So it's two weeks actually. Most two weeks. It's a ton of points. But this team is playing with a chip on their shoulder this season. And I think the toughest game on the schedule will be Miami. I think Miami took a step back. Even though they're going to be really good. I think Notre Dame took a step forward. The number one in returning production is going to ton of money. CJ Cardinal, the year of his belt, odds on the paper when the highs with him and Archie Manning. This teams on mission this year. To the cover of the first week of the season, I think so. I think, you know, styles make fights and boxing. And I don't think Wisconsin has a great style to keep up with this Notre Dame team. Their offense is loaded. The defense is loaded. And you know, I was looking at the sandwich, which can I think they played Miami? They played who they played that's Boston College and then the college BC.

3:41:32It's a song. We can play a rank opponent. And both Boston College is expected to win three or four games this year. So those little tricky spots is where I kind of look to see if those slip up. But I don't see this team slipping up. I better go undefeated at plus 160. And other Miami, I don't think nobody can stop this year. I told you why I didn't go to Notre Dame, right? Why is that? Well, when I was getting recruited, go to Notre Dame. They had St. Mary's across the way. And that's where the chicks went to school. And they had Notre Dame over here. And I tell the people this all the time. So when I got my recruiting trip, I'm going through the school that I'm going. This was back in the day though. This was like in the 80s and I go, where did chicks? Well, they're at St. Mary's. I'm like, come again. And they go, yeah, they're there across the way at St. Mary's. I go, wait a minute, wait a minute. There's no chicks at Notre Dame. And he goes, yeah, he goes, yeah, no, no chicks, no dad. And so you say, when you shake on, you have to go to that brand.

3:42:33You read that. And he goes, where are you going on your recruiting trip next week? I go, Miami. I go, I'm going to Miami and they really have people. Some two to one ratio. That's right. Absolutely. I go, where did chicks go? They're at St. Mary's, the college program. And it's a major factor. Oh, you bet your ass it was. I mean, I'm looking around at you. When you walk into the Notre Dame complex, it's pretty impressive. I mean, it really is. You see all the Heisman trophies, all the trophies and all the wins that they have. And you're walking around. You're like, wow, then you walk out. You start noticing one thing. You're like, looks like a military institution. And you're walking around and you're going, where did chicks do it? And I forget it was taking me around some guy named Lance, who was a an offensive tackle and he was talking me around. Oh, and by the way, the tight end for the New York Giants was taking me around Bavaro. So where are the boroughs taking me around?

3:43:34Yeah. We're friends of this day. And so like Bavaro's taking me around Notre Dame. And I go, where are the women? They're over there at St. Lawrence. I'm like, what do you mean over there? He goes, yeah, they don't go to school here. I'm like, what the fuck that? I don't know. That going to Notre Dame. Man, I already went through a whole Jesuit thing. Oh, my whole entire life, I was going to Catholic schools. That's not happening here. All right. So enough with that there. How about this one here? Louisville Ole Miss. I'll tell you something. It's only six and a half Ole Miss is favorite. That Louisville team is going to be a good football team this year. And they're going to push people in that ACC this year. I can promise you, if I was Miami, I'd keep my chin strap on for that ball game because they're a good football team. And that game's going to be closer to what people think. Already under seven points with that game. What are you liking that one? I didn't bet it, but just I mean, a lot of times, you're a lot like you said. Yeah, this is that home. I mean, you expect a lot to be, you know, north of seven points.

3:44:37But what that key number of seven, you know, most football games fall on the number three when number seven. And the fact that it's going below that number of seven, that takes a little bit of money to move it. You know, move that, move that price, move that line in Vegas. And there's some sharp money on Louisville. I haven't bet the game yet. I really didn't look into it yet. There's so many games on the board. Oh, yeah. I do. I'll give it out on Twitter for free. So just follow me. The Monday game. You like this on you this year? I mean, Rettler Shay has got a pretty good group there. They went to the college playoff two years ago. I believe in SMU get this. Hey, hey, you know what I love about the whole thing when SMU story. You know, back in the day, they were put on the death penalty, right? For paying players, correct? Now that they can play players, they're back in the national picture again. You notice that now they're not ranked nationally. And here they are again. Once they decide to start paying the players, gee, what a who would have thought it SMU's good again. Yeah, I'm sure it's only three.

3:45:39Three or two and a half. Yeah, yeah. And here's the thing too. I think FSU stinks. It's three points right now as she's FSU's favorite. However, remember what they did that'll be able to last year and he opened her. Yeah, they tore him a new one. Yeah. They got some players on that team. They got some players on FSU. Yeah, yeah, and it's tough to play down there. I mean, they went well, five and seven last year. Yeah, yeah. They beat Alabama last year. Two of the losses at home were really close. Yeah, it's tough to play down there on paper. SMU's probably the better team. They bring back the quarter back in the fifth year. Yeah, yeah. If you're for like 69 hundred yards and things like two to one touchdown in the session ratio in the last two seasons. I think they got a big edge in the quarterback position. I'm not sold on that as an dangles kid. He didn't look that great in the opener, you know. SMU brings back more production than they would last year. Their projected win total is a lot higher than FSU this year.

3:46:42They can win 10 games this year. Yeah, it's tough. And SMU's defense last year. They beat Miami because it turned over 28 turnovers was most. And this Florida state team last season doesn't turn them ball. I think you were ranked like 13th in the nation. You're really greedy with the football not turn the ball over. This is a very interesting game. It seems too easy to take SMU minus two and a half. I think below, you know, fuel goal. Man, this is tough. I'm kind of in an SMU, but it feels like a trap to me. Yeah, it feels like a trap. And it's a really good low by low spot on Florida state because they looked good in the last couple of years. I mean, they've been absolutely horrible. I got to tell you Florida state story. I'm from Connecticut. I've never seen anybody on a horse before like in my entire life.

3:47:44I've never seen a guy in horse. Okay. So I we go to dope Campbell is thinking back then too. Like they've shrunk the standings. The stands. It used to have like 85,000 in there. So I'm here for my first time. The dope camp. So I'm standing around and the guy goes like this to me. Get off the field and I go, why he goes get off the field? I'm not getting off the field. All of a sudden this horse. King, I see all of comes up and this guy's got this spear. Now, I don't think they have enough fire anymore. They shut the lights off. They like the fire on fire. The torch on fire. This guy throws this thing because I was on the field. He throws it to within five feet of me. I'm no one on big spears bang. I looked at the guy in the horse. He put the horse up in here like this. I looked over at my teammates. They're laughing. They're asked off. I don't know if I've ever been intimidated in my life on a football field. I buy another man, but I know that thing right there had me going. I looked up. I went like this. I just was like, yeah, okay.

3:48:44Maybe I should back up a little bit like I got it. Dude, it was it's a pretty and it's a pretty intense environment. When you go into dope. It's not only greatest places of all time to go play. Not easy to win down here. That's what I'm saying. It feels like a trap to have points. As you know, papers supposed to be much better team. 3:50:48You went for that to really this. I mean, how are they taking it? I mean, we're all happy. We turned to negative and positive negative and our lives that really impact a lot of us hurt my kids when they were young. They were pulling out of school. They were depressed. That I mean, we went through so much, you know, a lot of hard times. And now, you know, we took that story of all, you know, all the pitfalls on, yeah, I went through and all the mistakes I made. And you know, we're having fun with it. So it's kind of cool. It's kind of surreal. You know, never thought I'd be on. First of all, I never thought I'd be on national TV or doing podcasts or radio hits. And I've been doing them now for maybe 10 years. But you know, back in the day, I was so secretive. I would, I wouldn't even talk on the phone. I would fly out that Arizona and talk to someone for five minutes. And then, you know, come back home. So I was always in the shadows, even with the sportsmen because it was time to move back then. You know, people always thought I was a bookmaker, but I was a bent on sports and making a nice living doing it. And now it's fashionable and it's trendy and everyone's I wanted to

3:51:48Spencer and everyone wants to talk about weed and all these marijuana websites and you know, sports is now, you know, applauded bent on sports. Everyone wants to do everyone wants to be part of it. So the two biggest tattoos in my life back then are now the two hottest topics in the country and whatever. He wants to be, you know, around or surrounded with or be part of, you know, with the business and you know, I love all the sports betting content. I'm not a content creator on professional sports better. I kind of, you know, I tell people I don't create content. I am the content. Like I move the lines. I bet for a living, I mean, you know, maybe I'm not the greatest sports but I've done extremely well bent on sports. And it's it's a good field to turn that negative part of my life into something positive and maybe we can help people avoid the mistakes I made. And I love, you know, speaking of colleges, man, because those college kids are eyes are open wide and I tell them the truth about that. And parlor is I tell them the math behind it. I tell them, you know, the pitfalls behind, you know, bent on sports. You know, if you get addicted, it's scary for these young college kids because

3:52:51they're not professional sports better. They don't do it as a business. They're not investing in the sports betting market. And it's a lot different than when we were kids, because when we were kids, you know, in school and middle school high school, they would pass around those parlor cards and you would bet them. But that was once a week. Now it's in your hand. And there's a million bets you can place it. You know, I mean, two seconds and you can get addicted really quickly and addiction leads to depression and can ruin your life. So I love telling the, you know, the cost is the truth about sports. But yeah, you know, if you put your time in like any other business, you might be able to turn a profit, but if you just, you know, bet like crazy, you could be bad for you. So, you know, I'm being honest with everyone. It's like I said, if we can turn negative and positive, man, that's the best I can do. Absolutely awesome.
