5:15A day at summer camp. They can't pick him up the next day. He was on some show, right? She's in your universe Rod Stewart. He was on some He did like the reboot of the hills. He was like on it. Yeah. Oh, yeah, wild. Yeah, his daughter's wild too Kimberly. Oh, yeah I mean, we've been listening for a minute. You know, the famous summer camp stories This is another product of my parents divorce um, you know, my parents had a nasty divorce. I'm like nine years old. They're like, let's get him out of town for a month We're gonna send him away to this camp, which was probably you know Well, it should have been the greatest time of my life But instead I was a total bee about the whole thing and just cried Like it's like yeah, no, it total was uh and looking back on it I'm like what on earth, you know, like you sent me to california there's a beach You know, I mean, it was like they had Summer camps were wild in the 90s. I have to tell you this too because I mean on this little first of all the camp was in it in a like a Valley like a little basin in california in in the highest burn

6:19Zone like high risk like when you see a california wildfire in southern california That's where they happened right where the summer camp was which is why they eventually closed it because they decided to Evacuating kids every summer was it probably an insurance liability But some of the most famous people sent their kids there and then there was me But rod stewards kid went to this thing and um, I don't know where my parents got this idea And I don't know why I didn't like it, but they had uh they had a gun range At this right right florey. They had archery. You should I mean all of this by the way The camp I think lasted into the mid 2000s and by the mid 2000s a kid had been shot So they had to get rid of the rifle or get rid of the uh yeah the right florey And then a kid got shot by an arrow. They had to get rid of archery It just seemed like a bad idea all around to have guns and arrows and things And then they had college kids that were supposed to be the experts in all this they were the counselors. Oh, yeah Uh summer camp was wild. I don't think they do that anymore. And then there was like this

7:19I remember there was this um And of course there were cabins But then there was like this one cabin. It was only for the counselors. That's where they went at night And apparently I would I would love to speak to a counselor now About what actually like because there was this lore of what happened in this counselor bonk Like how hang out area that it was like it was I don't know that it was Wild something you would see on uh, uh, you know like a like a Chris Hanson special you know, I don't know like The alcohol and everyone humping and I don't know what else, but it was a wild place. And uh that's how I met Rod Stewart's kid For crazy I made a couple sons, but Sean was the one that was I think he was like friends with our dreamer or something But yeah, yeah, I was in that universe But yeah, one of my life regrets is is not really soaking that in Uh, yeah, that's crazy of you. No, I really really was crazy of me Like you were in Malibu on a beach. Yeah Well, I'm at any point was going to catch on fire, but other than that it was a wonderful place

8:22And uh, I really I don't know why I had I mean, I don't know it was a very traumatic time in a young in a young Christopher's life And um, I have I have serious regrets now you have a lot of people have different summer camp experiences Some people I know have summer camp experience had Experiences that they cherish so much me that they yeah, they revisit the camp as adults Can't get married there at the camp I went through yeah, there's one camp that my buddy Went to I believe it was a Jewish camp not that that matters, but it was a Jewish camp and I think it's like an April or May before the camp opens for the kids They they let them rent it out like the people that went there as adults and then they go and they like I guess I don't know what they do drink and do adult things and then stay in the same Cabins and relive the glory of being you know 12 years old at camp or whatever I don't know But that was the greatest time of your life too. Caitlin. Yeah. I mean, I I treasure it I went to camp in canada and also was a Jewish camp. No, I'm not Jewish at a time

9:23I only had Jewish friends and I was like this is what we're doing um, but yeah, it was just it was like magical like there were no phones. It was summer You had crushes like and yes, the counselors are doing it. They are sneaking alcohol like and there were some like old like Because there was one fine line where you could become a counselor like the next year So that was like a fine line because like you could still be a camper but be close in age with a counselor And there weren't supposed to be like you know inner counselor camper romances, but there were Yeah, it was called like there was a name for it. I can't remember what it was But yeah, it was and people do go back. They bring their kids. They get married there I would go but I'd never been to a camp But I would go back just to escape whatever this is now like and it's an adult. Yeah, love to go I should do like a take a month off Yeah, go to camp My friend wanted to get married at a camp and like do it like that and like everybody had cabins And it'd be like bonfires. I love that. Yeah, so I hope she still does it But that sounds cool. Yeah, I screwed this whole thing up on so many levels

10:25It's so embarrassing and like that's what I should have done is what I should have done is I should have gone there and enjoyed myself and Whatever else and then I should have become a counselor in training And then then you become a full-fledged counselor Right, you know the CIT and then a full-fledged counselor and then I mean I really could have had the time of my life if I had done this properly But no instead I didn't and there are letters that you will never see That are that my mom threatens to produce it's times that I wrote home You know telling any were terrible parents come pick me up from this hellhole I wanted you know They're serving me. Ah, he tune. I hate it. No, thank you. It was noble every day It's the awful not even my favorite role. Oh, you know, it's like what are we doing here? You know Steve Aoki was there Yeah, the kid. No, I don't think he was I can't go to ask you and I think went to this camp not when I was there. I think After me I have no idea how I wound up in this world or why my parents how they found this place or they thought it was a good idea

11:27Other than the fact that I grew up in Arizona and maybe some other kid I knew went there I really don't know, but they had the best intentions They had the best intentions with a lot of things that caused a lot of trauma in my life Um, yeah, like I if I could relive it certain moments I would really I would say go back to cotton tail ranch And I would pretend like I loved it. I would love it. No, I wouldn't pretend. I would love it Yeah, but anyway I find this camp that was this sort of off-shoot to where I was going With this you brought up Rod Stewart and then Caitlin said and this is a story that Caitlin has told for many years, but her first concert Was Rod Stewart with her father her father who seemed to think as a child that she was an adult Yeah, oh, yeah always. I mean talk about trauma that your parents put on you I did not want to be there now. I did get a really cool shirt that I'm so mad He gave away because like that would have been cool to wear now, but yeah I did not know one rod Stewart's song this this older guy I mean, you know, no shade no tea, but like this old dude on stage like swinging his mic stand around and that's all I remember

12:29And I was like can't we go to like spice girls What is your thinking was like I think you like this or it's important to me. I like it so because you know I think parents are the ones who typically and at least early or obviously early years and still our musical taste in us Yeah, so one thing about me as Paulina would say is I was the first born daughter and first born grandchild on both sides So and everybody had me pretty young in their 20s. So I was just brought along everywhere. I mean bars Rod Stewart concerts. I also saw Janet Jackson as you guys know that was naughty. I'm a Donna concert I cannot unsee. I mean we saw movies that I just like I was just brought along because there was just one and you know, I was chilling Yeah, my mom was really young too. I think she was 23 when she had me and But whatever reason I didn't you know, she didn't take me to like Whitney Houston concerts. I wish she had Yeah, it's probably she it was probably better than you know, you weren't taking all the places that I was taking but hey But I'm curious though 855591035 because sometimes these are funny. Yeah me and my parents See your parents they're good. They're good people. They took you anywhere you wanted to go They wait in line for tickets like you really the night before I started in your height Yeah, they did their big one with that one. I love that. Oh, Paulie, you make your first concert. So I was a little older I was like 20 I think or yeah, I was like about 20. So I went to MIA I was like front roads too because I think it was like one of those places where like you know you to walk in like Yeah, this was GA. Yeah. Yeah. So I was geying my little butt in the front and I was like Like literally second row if you will like it was up in your front of me. Yeah, that was really fun Wow, and then I don't know belly. 15:42The yesterday She's never by to a concert. Yeah, right And by the way, we must remember belly is 20 was you 29 28. No, I think didn't she just turn 27? No, she's close enough to 30 that there's stuff that she didn't know that she doesn't know and as much as we try and keep her Hey, brinjit. Oh, see now brinjit your first concert was in sync too. Wow It sure was I was 12 and my dad took me and he sat there with earplugs and a book With a book so great Book with a bunch of screaming preteens just read a book. Yeah, I was gonna say I don't even know how you I don't know how you'd be able to like in in I mean like soak that in like I don't know how you I don't know you focus on a book It was one of the loudest one of the loudest places I've never been was that. 24:09I guess both of the passengers pilots passengers whoever was on the plane was able to swim to shore They were found later and taken to the hospital for minor injuries and they're calling this miracle on the Hudson part two Wow And it looked like there was ice floating in the thing too, which there was not In the original that would have been a new twist to the miracle on the Hudson But no, it was not me. Whoa when I say fire breathing social media trend But authorities are warning parents about a dangerous fire breathing trend that has already sent at least one teenager to the hospital The stunt involved kids involves kids trying to blow flames using flammable liquids like isopropyl alcohol

25:12Over in one recent case in Philadelphia or in Pennsylvania 18 attempting the trends suffered serious burns to her face and chest and it had to be Intimated and officials say her injuries could be live altering fire officials say the challenge is extremely risky because the chemicals are highly flammable And the flames can spread quickly potentially burning the person igniting a building Or even being inhaled into the lungs. So let's not Let's not try and breathe fire No So that we can get slicks and views on the internet. Kiki don't even think about it You know, I'm not my brother used to do this when we were kids and there was no social media at that time. So you know To have my eyebrows At least he's hairspray and do this Oh Don't do it. They're calling it the creeped-out factor People start to feel this way because it seems like companies are watching their behavior online which they are That uncomfortable feeling can make people less likely to trust the brand or buy the product to actually usually have the reaction Usually happens rather in two steps people feel confused About how the company knows so much about them Then they start to think the ad feels like surveillance or spying which creates a strong creepy reaction Other surveys back this up more than half of Americans hit a personalized ads make them uncomfortable and many people install ad blockers to avoid them I'm not sure if it stops me from buying the product, but it definitely makes me ask questions when I get an ad for something and I'm like why this You know like what what did I what I look at what were you spying on me doing You know, I don't need blue chew. I don't right. So why do you think I do? Are you watching my performance and you don't think it's good enough like you think I could be better

27:15And so you I mean, why are you sending me this stuff? Isn't my age? Like what are we doing? But does it isn't does it work that way for you guys like where you feel like You're not going to buy a product if you think they're spying on you It's annoying to me. I'm actually having a one-sided beef with Serena Williams Every three videos I'm gonna talk is Serena Williams trying to sell me olympic Yeah, Serena, you've never been my size So I don't want it from you girl. 28:19Well, Paulina you were triggered by that. I was that referring to you specifically One mom named Paulina Rowling Says her 17-month-old daughter loves to eat butter and asks for it will me to She you know a little a little salted but a lot of salted butter on a small piece of bread like more More butter to bread ratio. I'm fine with this You know, there's there's a trend where people put butter in their coffee instead of cream or milk or whatever. I mean that I don't figure they call that but Yeah, so this this family says they buy grass fed butter from New Zealand it costs about 12 bucks and the toddler eats it just Like a cheese or something like a snack parents behind the trend said a butter contains healthy fats and vitamins They could help with brain development digestion Sleep and skin health the idea is part of a broader trend where parents feed kids more whole foods like meat eggs and dairy instead of package snacks But critics online say the trend is weird and unsafe and some pediatric experts warn butter should only be eaten in moderation

29:24And could even be a choking risk if toddlers eat it by itself Okay, um, I mean I'd like to try that but I'm also pretty sure my heart would stop Yeah, I think I have a better chance of survival of breathing fire than I would have eating sticks of butter but Yeah, yeah, like an apple Click out Like a banana. No, things really changed, but in two separate posts Victoria posted throwback photos saying I love you so much his father Soccer star David Beckham also posted simply saying we love you remember Brooklyn publicly shared his issues with his parents and basically said He has no interest in speaking to them and hasn't for months since that Instagram post so it's whatever is going on. It just makes me very sad to see Family, you know, it makes me sad too and maybe you know they're blocked everywhere So the only way that they can communicate with him is very publicly, but I also It kind of triggers me If somebody who has some family of strangeness that eat that they're continuing to sort of play this in the public eye Because part of me wonders like if there's really an issue Are they pandering for sympathy from everybody else instead of changing the issue You know what I mean like that to get too deep with this

32:30But I'm not sure that that's anything like is that sincere or is that Because when you post something for millions of people that's probably a very private matter I wonder if that doesn't just sort of pour salt in the wound like here we go again You know like if he's sitting back going why are we playing this out for the rest of the world as opposed to You know, maybe dealing with this internally or changing the reason that got us here, you know I'm a hundred percent there with you and I think because of our Like shared experiences. We are able to see that I've noticed that even in my friend group like we beef over this because like I've noticed my friends cannot separate their love from like posh spice to like what we think is actually going on and All I'll say is I don't know much But I really think it takes a lot for a child to walk away from their parents And I think that dynamic is still as such like he's in his 20s. He's still the child They're still the parents and and so I tend to agree with you I think a lot of what he is accusing them of is being performative and

33:30You know speaking through the press instead of like he Brooklyn claims he tried to meet with them privately But like they wouldn't do it. They wanted it to be at David's 50th birthday So that would fall in line with what I guess Brooklyn's alleging but um I don't know and it does it triggers me too. I just I'm scared of the the people that love posh spice so much that they want to yell at me But um one again, you know none of us really know no no and so I just I don't know for me.
