FSU Fights to Keep Top Recruit Mekhi Williams

He's their highest ranked pledge, sitting at number 195 overall, and number 17 at his position nationally. Williams has been locked in with FSU for over a year, but other schools like Wisconsin are pushing strong after his recent first visit there. He came away impressed, putting the badgers right at the top of his list now, even as he keeps options open. This six-foot-two 160-pound Florida standout exploded last season at Leonard High with 33 tackles, two picks, and four pass. Breakups. FSU was the first to offer him back. In January 2025, landing his commitment a month later, and he's still their only top 300. Commit. Upcoming official visits could shake things up.
