Aliyah Rashid, head of her family's Al-Sara investment group and founder of the luxury furniture brand Fram, just announced a big partnership for her, Fram Lab platform. It's teaming up with Charjar Research, Technology and Innovation Park, or Spark, in the UAE to boost emerging designers in furniture and related fields. This collab aims to spark creative swaps in open doors for regional talent on the world stage, Fram Lab, launched after Fram. Kicked off in 2023 between Doha and Milan, acts as a bridge blending golf heritage with fresh glow ideas through competitions and hubs. Designers are buzzing about it, especially after Fram, lab spotlight at Milan Design Week. They showcase pieces from four competition finalists, like Lebanese Ismail Houtette and French American Blanca Scully, mixing European vibes with Arab. Roots, a full exhibit of all 12 is

set for the design Doha Biennale, now pushed to November 5. Rashid's crew includes top mentors, like Julio Capillini and Joseph Grima, plus strong backing from golf governments pushing creative industries. Her family firm even snapped up Italian luxury brand, Giorgetti, last September.
