Story Transcript:

No: Høsten hadde malt byen i Oslo i varme farger.
En: Autumn had painted the city of Oslo in warm colors.

En: Outside the large office windows, the red and yellow leaves on the trees danced.

En: Inside the modern office building, a different type of energy was flowing; excitement and expectation.

No: Det var dagen for den store presentasjonen.
En: It was the day for the big presentation.

No: Lars satt ved pulten sin.
En: Lars sat at his desk.

En: He was young and ambitious, always on the lookout for the next opportunity to climb the company's ranks.

En: Today, he would impress the bosses with a presentation about the company's future strategies.

No: Alt skulle være perfekt.
En: Everything had to be perfect.

No: Men noe gikk galt.
En: But something went wrong.

No: Datamaskinen nektet å spille presentasjonen.
En: The computer refused to play the presentation.

No: Lars kjente panikken vokse.
En: Lars felt the panic rising.

No: Han prøvde å fikse problemet selv, men ingenting hjalp.
En: He tried to fix the problem himself, but nothing helped.

No: Tiden tikket, og nervøsiteten slo inn.
En: Time was ticking, and nervousness kicked in.

No: Da husket Lars Ingrid.
En: Then Lars remembered Ingrid.

En: Ingrid was known to be the best with technology at the office, but also a person he often competed with.

No: Å be om hjelp føltes som et nederlag, men han hadde ikke tid til stolthet nå.
En: Asking for help felt like a defeat, but he had no time for pride now.

En: "Ingrid, can I get some help?" Lars asked, trying to hide his fear.

No: Ingrid nikket, et smått smil på leppene.
En: Ingrid nodded, a small smile on her lips.

No: "Selvfølgelig, Lars. Hva er problemet?"
En: "Of course, Lars. What's the problem?"

No: Hun jobbet raskt, fingerspissene danset over tastaturet.
En: She worked quickly, her fingertips dancing over the keyboard.

No: Ikke lenge etter fungerte presentasjonen perfekt.
En: Not long after, the presentation worked perfectly.

No: "Der! Du er klar," sa hun med et smil.
En: "There! You're ready," she said with a smile.

No: Lars pustet lettet ut, "Tusen takk, Ingrid."
En: Lars breathed a sigh of relief, "Thank you so much, Ingrid."

No: Presentasjonen nærmet seg.
En: The presentation approached.

No: Lars gikk inn i møterommet hvor kollegene hans allerede satt klar, blant dem Sven, hovedavdelingens leder, kjent for sine skarpe spørsmål.
En: Lars walked into the meeting room where his colleagues were already seated, among them Sven, the head of the main department, known for his sharp questions.

No: Med et dypt pust startet Lars presentasjonen.
En: With a deep breath, Lars started the presentation.

En: Everything went well, but then Sven posed a difficult question.

No: Lars stoppet opp et øyeblikk, hjertet slo raskere.
En: Lars paused for a moment, his heart beating faster.

En: But instead of freezing, he thought quickly—and answered with confidence.

En: Sven nodded impressed, and a slight smile broke his otherwise serious face.

No: Etterpå kom Sven bort til Lars. "Bra jobbet. Vi må snakke mer om framtiden din her," sa han.
En: Afterwards, Sven came over to Lars. "Well done. We need to talk more about your future here," he said.

En: As Lars returned to his desk, he felt a new kind of confidence.

No: Han hadde lært at samarbeid kunne åpne flere dører enn å klare seg alene.
En: He had learned that collaboration could open more doors than going it alone.

En: His ambitions continued to grow, but now he understood a more important part of the journey: we are stronger together.
