1:02So let's call it how many people do you catch with this hustle right here because I love it. Let Lizzy between you and me go, come on honestly, how many people fall for this again? What? What are you doing? What is it? I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready. What? You got a whole file. I got a whole file. Yes. Anyway, what they're organized, well, because I fell for this, no, you did not fall for it. Did you? Yes. So this is okay. Well, I mean, start the beginning. Start the beginning. So I actually had a frame contact me about something that came in the mail that was offered to him. He's a loafer. And he's like, man, take a look at this, you know, I'm not so sure about it. So I said, well, send me what you got. And he sent me some documents. So I looked at them and it was obviously a scam to me.

2:03Right. Right. So I called my constituent here because this is more like kind of his field that he sharpened this stuff. I'm like, man, I don't know about this stuff, but take a look at this. So he called me and when he gave me the letter, what did the letter say? And that's what I'm going to read. So like I, when I read this letter, like I viewed it as how could I improve on this? Not how could I improve, but I saw this letter and I told myself, this sounds like somebody like Matt and I sitting down and discussing it. But what had happened to me was I actually, so there was just getting into the story and I don't even want to vote a surprise. All right. So what the letter says is it's from what appears to be a lawyer. And when I go to the lawyer's website, it's obviously a fraudulent created website that's

3:09very benign. Like if I wanted to fool the bank and to think and I had a company, right, and do you have a website? Yes, I have a website. And I would have someone design a website. Yeah, just picture, and it's supposed to be a lawyer's website, and there's no pictures of the lawyer. This some guy on fire, something like that. But what the letter says is, his friend's name is just to block it out. What you say his name is Roger Roger, Goodell, so it says, Mr. Goodell, my name is Andrew McGregor. That's the lawyer. I'm a partner at the Andrew McGregor LLP in Canada. It says apologies if my letter came to you as a surprise since there's been no previous correspondence between us. There is a unclaim permanent life insurance policy held by our deceased client. What is saying is the transaction pertains to a unclaim, payable on death, saving monetary

4:14deposit in the sums of $11,800,000 and 20 US dollars. You stuck out. You think I wouldn't know if I had a relative worth $11,000,000, we'll get the whole scope. Let me get to it. The policy holder was one of our clients, a late Mrs. Maria Goodell, who shares the same last name with you and was a stockbroker and retired CPA. She was a COVID-19 victim who died about four years ago. Since her death, no one has come forward for the claim and all of our efforts to locate her relatives have proved unsuccessful. The insurance company code stipulates that insured permanent policies not claim must be turned over to the abandoned property division of the state after three years. Therefore, I ask consent for you to be in partnership with me for the claim of this policy benefit in view of the striking similarities in the same last name, nationality with the

5:16disease. If you permit me to add your name to the policy, all proceeds will be processed on your behalf. I wish to point out that I want 10% of this money to be shared among charity organizations while remaining 90% will be shared between us. This is 100% risk-free. I do have all the necessary documents to expedite the process. Highly, then he goes into any regular talking of what lawyers say. This is a variation of the Nigerian print scam. Tell me about the Nigerian print scam. So it started where they were writing letters back in like the 50s, 60s, right? So they would write letters from Nigeria to people where they'd get their name and address and they would say that there was a Nigerian print that had died. And all the money had been left to his barrister. And his barrister also died in a car bombing with the print.

6:16But he was in charge of the money. And you have access to them, but you have the same name or a similar name to him. And as a result of that, now this is typically comes from someone in from like England. And they're saying that because your name is so similar, you are the only person that has the ability to claim the fund, the Nigerian print, funds. And I will represent you as your barrister, which is like an attorney. As your attorney, I'll represent you. You simply have to sign some papers. He has the same name as you. Sometimes they would accompany it by an article where there was a car bombing or something showing that. And then you start corresponding back and forth. And then eventually they get to a point where they it's all ready to go. And then suddenly they say, and all you have to do is pay the transfer or the taxes or the whatever. And we'll release the money. This is absolutely. So exactly what happened. Well, you know, so it started with letters. But then it turned into telephone calls.

7:17Yes. And then it after the phone call, well, I'm saying, no, they, the first version. Well, wait, wait, wait, I'm saying the first, let me just say the first version was all letters. But then once you start, we're able to make long distance phone calls. They would just call you. That's where the Nigerian, the bank phone banks came from. Then it became emails. So it's funny to me that this is now a letter again. Yes. Does it make sense? Like through the years over the last 50 to 70 years, it's evolved. Right. And it's all the way back to the letters because the letter is way more credible and personal than an email. Right? Yes. Oh, yeah. So I'm sorry. I just described exactly. It's a variation though. But let me hear what happened. I'm sorry. Right. Yeah. And that's the show guys. Which is why next week. Well, actually, I'm a real scared. But which is why when I told him when it's presented to you on a podcast, like, no, no, we can figure this out. And I'm such an idiot. I'm wondering how far you guys went with this.

8:19I have a folder, man. That is red. It's red. How much money did you send them? Okay. Yeah. I'm not that much. I'm ready. All right. So, yes. So I believed it. I honestly straight up. I'm talking to his friend, Roger. Does he put me in touch? And I'm going dude. You believe you did not believe it. Well, he's like, man, this is credible. This is, you know, looking at all the checks and balances like they. And then he's like, well, why would they go through all of this? Right. The question is, why would, you know, like, what is the deal? Like, you know, if I was active right now, I'd have all your mother fucking money. Oh, I'd have all your money. I hate to interrupt the program. But if you didn't know, my name is Matthew Cox. And I spent 13 years in prison for title theft. And this is how easy title theft is. I can be sitting in a Starbucks with my computer. I can go online, go to public records, get your address, name of the homeowner.

9:22I can create a deed, a satisfaction of mortgage. I can file that satisfaction of mortgage. I can then transfer the name of your home into someone else's name. Or I can simply create a driver's license in the true homeowner's name. I can then sell the home or borrow against the home. And I can do all of that online sitting in Starbucks. I can apply for the mortgages online. I can open up the bank accounts online. I can go to the closing online. I can have all the documents notarized online. And I can have all of the money wired into my bank accounts online. I can then transfer that money out of those accounts to other accounts. Or maybe I could buy precious metals. I could buy diamonds. And I can have all of that delivered anywhere I want by sitting in Starbucks. That's how easy it is to commit this crime now. And it's happening more and more every single day. 11:24So I completely bought into it because I'm telling myself what if this woman actually died. And he's in Canada and he doesn't have anyone to claim it. It's funny. It was so what's so great about this is that like I just interviewed a guy who literally worked for a company that tracked down people that had inheritances. Like it's a this is a real thing. They really do. Yeah. You have to get 10% to various charities. And then we split this to how it works. They basically take 30% like any normal lawyer. Yeah. Depending on how much they have into it, they might ask for 30% on top of their their fees. Like, hey, we had to we spin this much for this. But that's the thing. But this guy is to me when he was saying that this money is about to go to the state and rather than have the money go to the state.

12:27Like why couldn't we get work with me? Like he's kind of a crooked lawyer like. Yeah. He's not angered. And like that. That absolutely worked on me because I'm telling myself that if like this is I'm telling him and Roger this is real. I'm telling you. I'm going to cover up the I'm going to cover up the name. So just well, you won't be on. It won't. Nobody can see it. Is this the actual letter? Yes. To me, one, this is funny because almost every lawyer I've ever seen has been justified. Like the paragraph of justified. The other thing is the margins are really horrible. He's covering the whole page. There's almost like an email. You know, so to me and the paper, like no lawyer is sending it on this crap paper. There's no color. Right. Like you would have that. Seals. You know how they get fans about the seals. But it looks it looks legit. It's just the formatting isn't like a legal person. But what if I tell you my nose? So as the idiot, as the village idiot, my thinking was this isn't a real lawyer.

13:30You're thinking it's still kind of like he's a lawyer and he's fishing. He's just dirty. Yeah. Yeah. He's dirty and he's sending out. He's still be professional. Like listen, I could improve on this. But anyway, go ahead. I feel confident. I get proof. And I would have set up a very credible website. But you know, lawyer, let's move on. Let's keep going. I felt that he was fishing. So I told Roger, I'm like, this guy's fishing. He's probably got this money. It's about the good of the state. And so we have an opportunity to get millions. So let's call him. So he asked that we call. So we called him. Oh my god. What happened? Well, he answered. And he got very excited. He's like, oh, this is a great day for both of us. This is a opportunity for both of us. And he convinced him. And he's like, listen, he goes, I don't know if you've ever thought about being a millionaire, but this is our chance. He.

14:30Yes. So look this gift horse in the mouth. That's right. So I told myself I'm not going to look this in the mouth. So what do we need to do? So he emailed us all the forms. Like with with Rogers ID to send it back. You know, he sent us all the court papers. And he. Oh, looks at their stamps. Stamps and everything. Yes. So he sent us all the court papers. And so we filled out the paperwork and emailed it back. Right. So he said it's very depressing. What did you. What did you. When you was late in bed at night and you thought about this, what car were you going to buy? How did you know? So I was thinking more. But the car brand. He was buying into. Yes. I was going to buy a lot. But look, when I brought it to him, he kept. Six kept going. This is obviously a scam. I would not waste any time with it. But I had convinced Roger.

15:30Don't listen to this guy. He's like, but it's obviously he goes, why would you waste? He goes, you want to. I go, he's not asking us for money. He made it even look like that he actually paid like $5,000 to get the process. As America turns 250 this year, it has me thinking about the people that really help build this country. I know I don't have a copy of his check. But he actually paid like $4,000, $5,000. He said the guy did initially. That's what it looked. That's what he made me. Oh, there it is. Oh, it's a good cashier's check. Oh. So he didn't look like he had already paid some money in order to start the process going. He's a good guy. He's a good guy. He's a good guy. Superior court of justice. Superior court of justice. Yes. Come on. Oh, justice. That is what it's what it's called. So Matt, all the way along the line. You're checking. Yes. I'm researching. That is their court system cannot be the superior court of justice. Are you kidding me? No.

18:30I'm not. That's what it's called. That's their like their state courts is what it's called. Wow. There was to be honest, there was a couple of things that were skewed. You know, like the location of the lawyer and the phone number. Like he also wanted me to contact someone at the bank. And it was a Monday. And when I looked the bank up, the bank was actually closed on Monday and the person called me back. But I'm like, I just got on the website and you're, you're closed. So I felt like there was some sort of scamming going into it. But I thought he was just doing that so that we wouldn't see how the process of getting the million dollars was going to go. It's telling me. I said in just for the viewers at home, like when I opened the, and it took a look. Two sentences and I'm like, oh, this is scale. What do we do? I don't think it's not a, I go, it is a scam. But it's a scam against the state to stop them from getting 11 million dollars.

19:33It's not a scam against us. He's not, he just wants to use our name to get the money. His angle resonated with Zach just instant. This could work. This is a lemon. You're all genius. You're curious. So what happened then? You called them. So what happened? And we thought out the paperwork. We went back and forth. And so it comes to where we actually fill out the form to get the money deposited in the account, which is, this is the form. And there was what we learned about the processing fees. So we got a little cross-point processing fees. Yes. But Andrew, Andrew, I'm assuming you're taking care of this, right? You started the payments. Right. Unfortunately at this stage. Well, and that's what Andrew was, I'm representing you. But you're dealing directly with the bank to get the money.

20:33So you have to handle everything with the bank. So the processing fees for 10 million to 20 million. Yeah, it's 15,500 dollars. Penny's on the dollar. Mr. Millionaire. Who's coming up with that? Well, which could be payable. And it would need to be wired directly to a corporation out of New York. The LLC. Do you have any idea how much I wish Zach could come to me and said, can you lend me 15,000? So I could, he could have shown me the paperwork. And I could have said, let's sit out for a minute. I know that feeling. I know that feeling. I could have done a fine. He'd have put your arm around me like, come on. He had like the 15 million. No. And not with Milligan. Come on. It's okay. It seemed so real, Matt. Dream of the money because he was never asking for money. He never upfront said, like, if you pay us this,

21:36it's basically, I'm going to sell you the dreams. It's like when he, he still calls. When he calls, he asks me, so what are you going to do with the money? He goes, I'm thinking about taking a trip with me and the wife with my money. I want to make a crack about why scammers go after old people. But Zach's only a year old. I wouldn't fall for this. But in a year from now, I may be sitting here with someone going, no, you don't understand. He didn't want any money. So what would stop you from like immediately just the letter? You'd be like, this is garbage. It's, this is, this is the scam. Yep. This is a scam. You wouldn't have been interested in what the scam is. I, you know what it's funny? There have been times when like they've, I've gotten the phone call where the person says, you know, like they'll say like your, your social security number has been canceled. You know, please stay on the line to speak with a representative from the social security administration. And it's like, you can't cancel a social security number. Like that doesn't, you know, and I've been like, yeah, let me stay alone.

22:38Yeah, let me, let me explain with the tip. Let me, I've actually had time where I thought, let me, let me go ahead and straighten this guy out. Yeah, this is not, I hear you. Yeah, I hear you. I, I, I see where you're at with this. Your instinct was right, but you're going about it wrong. Here's what you need to do and help them. You've got to pin a paper. Right. But, you know, after being on the phone and, and laughing with the guy and joking with them and him knowing that I know and there, you know, and then they get frustrated, they get pissed off at you because you're just mocking them and then they just hang up on you. You know, so I haven't, can never get very far. I've gotten to the point where they transfer you to the second person and talk to that guy and right there. Yeah, exactly. And then that was a woman and she got upset with me and she was irritated with me because I was laughing so much and asking so many questions and she knew that I knew but I wasn't saying I know. I was like, well, I don't understand why exactly again was it canceled, how do you cancel a social security? She could feel the mocking in my, my voice and finally she got frustrated and said, all right,

23:43yeah, we're done with this guy and click next, next sucker, yeah, but I didn't see this because I didn't understand where it would be a scam against me because he's not asking me for money. I'm reiterating the fact that look, I don't need anything from you. We're going to do this. The 10% bank that means it's not me, yeah, exactly. So what, when you saw the fees, what did you say? I said, there's the scam. There it is. Like because of all the, all of the things that were off, because I'm up online researching everything and there's a lot of things that were off because of that, I knew it was something. I just didn't know what it was. Like you're offering me millions of dollars and I'm thinking because at one point, I think there was a Nigerian scam where people were putting money and this, everybody told you about that. I used to beg people to call like my friends were going, these Nigerian people are calling us up and they're depositing fake cashier checks into our accounts and then we give them

24:45half the money. And then a week later, it bounces, I'm like, oh my God. I want to have that, I want some, you know what I'm saying? So I, and I figured that that was a situation like they wanted this guy to give up an account and they were going to drop $11 million in it and we give them half the money we take. You know, my involvement in this, I'm kind of like, listen, Roger, whatever happens. Let's work this out. Because I'm thinking maybe they want a wire, $11 million, maybe they're trying to take the money from the state, whatever it was, I'm like, whatever they're doing, means we're going to get some money. Let's do this. He's saying yes, yes, yes, yes, you're going, Roger, you're never going to see that money. Is that right from the beginning? Okay. Like I'll wait. I don't like it. Yeah. I don't like it. Yeah. I don't like it. So what would you call the guy?

25:45What did he say when you said, what's with these fees? He's like, just pay the fees and we get the millions. I said, well, how fast is it? He goes, he's normally the same day. Within minutes of the money going out, the millions come in. The millions of regrets come. They pass each other on the wires and that's when I realized that's, that was the scam. So I'm like, so that's the scam. The scam is to sell me a dream and then I buy it. Really, what I realized is because Roger had another friend that was on the roofing company and he got the same letter, a different lawyer, a different lawyer. I'm going to go out on my way here and say it may be the same lawyer. So what we were talking about is obviously these guys are targeting people who own roofing companies

26:49who probably have $15,000 like it's $200. Like you might ask me for $200, give me $200 and I'll give you $100,000. $200, I can actually afford to do that. Right. They're just targeting business owners that have accounts and that they know that they probably have access to the $10,000, $15,000. And it would give it off. It's at a base, the base same letter. Like this, like the back of the scam is I'm offering to someone to win. You know, like like he was all it is, I was dreaming of this money. And then I can't tell him myself no matter how it's coming. It's coming. No matter how it shows up, I'm winning. So we wanted to present that to you, I guess, and get your opinion, not of my stupidity because we can, or let's talk about that up front. Well, you know, it's funny is, and I actually think I did a show. Didn't I do it? We do a show where I mentioned this before where, so I sell paintings on Etsy, right?

27:53I have a, I have a, I have a store on Etsy called, by the way, it's Cox Pop Art, and you can buy paintings. Anyway, the shameless flood. So if somebody goes on Cox Pop Art, and they, they, they, they contact me and they say, look, I want this, this one painting, whatever. It was, let's say it was a $300 painting. And it was a woman and she said, hey, I have this $300 painting. I like it. And I said, okay, it was three. It's like $300 or $300. I said $300 and I'll ship it to you. She was, okay, she said, she comes back, she's, look, I want it. The problem is, she said, can I have, she said, I'd rather just buy it from you directly. And this was, by the way, she contacted me. She'd seen the stuff on the website, but contact sent me an email. And my email, I think, is on the website. So she goes, yeah, I'll just sit, can I just send you a cashier's check? And I said, yeah, I got an overall with that.

28:53Because that's happened multiple times where people just mailed me. First, I said, why don't you just sell me or this? I gave her a different, and she's like, yeah, I don't only have that stuff. Can I just send you a cashier's check? That's fine. I've actually had guys buy paintings like that before. So I didn't think anything of it. So I was actually with Jess, which is my wife, and we were driving to, we were driving to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, because I was doing a speech in front of about 40 law enforcement officers. So I'm driving to, well, there, and we're in a Starbucks, getting Starbucks before I go in, and we're, and I check my email, and there's, there's a, there's an email. And the woman says, oh my gosh, she's like, oh, you're not going to believe this. She said, my uncle is the one who paid for the painting. I told him to mail you a check for $300, a cashier's check for $300.

29:54He accidentally mailed you a check for $1,100, he owes my, he was sending, supposed to send $800 to my brother, and he's, he's an older guy, and he got confused and got one cashier's check, and he's mailed it to you. And she said, could you do me a favor, you don't have to mail it back to me, just deposit the check, and then sell me or, or paypal me, or I forget what, what it was, but basically send me the $800 back, and it was like send it, you can send it directly back to my uncle or whoever it was, and I, so I, I was like, and I listen to this, and I hit just, I say, listen, I read the email to Jess, and Jess goes, well, that's trusting of her that, to, to, to trust that you would send the money back, so that's, yeah, that's fine, because you'll send the money back, and I went, I had my first thought with, boy, I take everything

30:57you had, if I was at a level, and I, why didn't you say it that way? It's like, because I have me, I thought, because at my first, obviously, I know the cashier's check, you're going to get the cashier's check, deposit it, they're looking for people to have established bank accounts, that will automatically, the bank will automatically give them the money. Oh, yeah, of course, that's good. Two days later, boom, there's the money. And then of course, I'm, I'm zelling the money out, or pay piling, or whatever, cash app, I'll give them the money, and now they've drained that account, and then it's over, they've got 900 bucks. And it seems like a, a minor amount of money to you and I, but, sorry, eight, but $800 to some scammer in Nigeria, that's like getting five grand, or 10, that's like a six or $7,000 lick. And these are people that live off of 500 bucks a month. And they just made $8,000. And they're like, to them, that's like getting checked for seven or eight thousand dollars. Right. You don't have to have a one of those a month work. If they get

31:58to a week or two a day, they're, they're living in, in kid houses. So they're flooding, they're, they're putting, they're throwing out thousands of, right. So I sent her an email back and I said, you know, absolutely no problem. Go ahead and send me the check. And she sent me the check. And so a couple of days later, I get the, I get the cashier's check, or I'm sorry, I said, absolutely no problem. I'll send you the money back. You're little one grew three inches overnight, adorable, also expensive. 34:06you know, really like in press. I was like, wow, like had it been like, I'll bet you this works a lot. This works like this. Yeah. So probably, and that's what that's what I was saying. I was praying for. That's the same scam. So I dragged her along, by the way, for the next two or three weeks, to the point where they were sending me that she had my, my text. So we were texting at that point. Now I'm getting, it's towards the end who's sending me text messages. Like, are you trying to scam me? Are you keeping that? I said, come on, man. Stop it. What if she's real? What if she's real? Is that real? First off, she's not real because when I started saying, come on, cut, cut the shit. And I went through the whole, oh, by the way, to make sure that it wasn't real, I actually went to the bank and showed the bank. They said, boy, it looks good. And then of course, I actually talked to a Hillsbrook that got one of the guys at the thing, the Hillsbrook County economic prime division.

35:11I talked to him and I said, hey, I said, what can I fill out a police report like I love to get this person? Like, and he is, you're not getting him. He is, we're not going to get him. He said, man, he said, it's, I'm not going to tell you. He said, yeah, I'll take the report if you want. He said, it's not worth it though. And he said, there, there's no way. So this person's in Nigeria or he named off like six different countries that that person would be in. And they're going to send it here. They've got people to open, do nothing professionals that do nothing, but open up cash apps, paypal accounts. They run all the money through within three weeks and close them down. And they've already got six other ones. Wow. Yeah. So I mean, there's a, there's a place in that's what you were saying, too. It's like, I see this guy in an office at a phone in a phone bag. Is what you get? You know, if you remove the fact that you're clipping people from money, right, that you're stealing from people that probably, but I don't know whether they can afford it or not. Nobody wants to lose it. You're causing anxiety. If you remove that from the equation, it sounds like a fun job. You know, it's like, I could see me trying

36:15to craft the letters and making the website. I told him that's when I go, for some reason, I pictured his lawyer calling up a friend like Matt and saying, listen, this woman's accounts about the closing is $11 million. What can I do? Like, I had this vision, like, I spent a lot of time banning on this letter because I'm like, what is the scale? What is it? And I go, I have vision. This guy has a friend like Matt and Matt and the friend is saying, find somebody with a similar name and just shoot him out of the letter, set up another lawyer office. This is me visiting this. Right. Set up a lawyer office that kind of looks like a law firm, send some letters out with somebody with the same name. See if you can find somebody game enough to say that, hey, they're related to her. And then you get the money and you split it with them. Like, what do you got to lose? I saw that glint in his eye. I was, it starts to run. But there's a, this is a look. Why would they?

37:20Come on. How far did this go? Did you, once you talked to him, did you, you talked to him and said them, he said, just pay them. What did you say? Have that conversation. When, when he wanted to fee for the bank, I say, there's the scale. It is. I know that. But did you say to him, there it is? Did you call him and say, I've been, yeah, we need to call him now. And you say, I wish I could get this guy on the phone. I think you explained it. And here's what we, listen, what about this? What about you get him on the phone? But do you say, listen, this is my, but because he still thinks this is possible, right? Yes. Say, listen, I tell him you don't have the 15. You're trying to convince me to, to loan him the 15,000. So they're probably in an office. They're managing the rooms. Yeah. It's identical to telemarketing rooms. So the lower guys, this guy doesn't know script. He's not good. He's just listening. And he's got this probably a bulletin board with his hot guys. Why do you have like, I vision this to be like one or two people. I don't even vision it to be that like, I think he was at the house, the music in the background or wherever they were. They have nowhere to send it. They send it out of check and then after 90 days, you don't cash it and they keep it. So it's called, it's called, I want to say it's called unclaimed money. It's unclaimed money. But it's called the website for Florida is like Florida treasure dot gov or Florida treasure dot gov. Exactly what you're talking about now. Okay. And what happens is is that they end up with thousands of people have thousands of dollars out there and they have no idea. And what would happen is basically the TICO or Tampa electric company would just keep that money. Oh, got 500 bucks. Well, put it this side and then they use that money and once you don't show up for so many years, they just. Right. That money's there. Well, I believe it was Obama that came in and said, look, all the states have to, they can't keep the money. It's not their money. They have to put it on a website and they have to actively have the website available and they have to advertise the website to people that they can all go and try and claim

55:14their money. For instance, when I got out of prison, my buddy Trion told me about it and he said, you need to go on there and see if you have any money. I was like, I don't have any money. And sure enough, I did have money. I like, I forget what it was. It was like 21 hundred, 25 hundred bucks. It was a lot. It was, it was like four different things. One was for like an insurance policy, which I actually remember that I had been in a car accident and I paid to have my car fixed and waited for the money, but I took off on the run before the money came. So the insurance company that check was never cashed after like two or three years, they put it on the site. The other things were like a credit card and something that there were several other things where I put up like three grand on a security credit card for some bullshit and then they ended up, you know, ended up giving the money back. Like there was a few different things like that. So the money's on the site. I just went on the site, filled out the form. But when I first went on the site and I filled out the form, I immediately got contacted by these, you know, companies, professional companies that would tell you we can help

56:15get your money and they wanted like 10% to help get it. I was like, I can fill out the form myself. So what I'm saying is if you took something like that, that's legitimate and tried to tie into it and said, Hey, by the way, we are, you know, connected with the website and gave the website and everything is that we've searched it and we've found multiple people that have a similar name to yours, but they've passed away and did the same thing. Now you've tied into that to your attorney that works with them. Well, which is probably I feel like don't try this and I analyze this is why I felt like they use Canadian law because we don't quite know it. Right. We don't quite understand it. And it's not something that I can easily look up because I looked up everything. I spent because everything I was sold. I'm like, why would they make this? And that's what I kept thinking. I said, this guy has a buddy and he talked it over with somebody like, listen, I'm seeing this money about the go to the state. Like how could we get it? I'll tell you another thing that that happens is and a lot of people don't understand

57:18this because I've actually gone through the process of having my name changed. Not my name. I changed somebody else's name. I sold someone's identity and then changed his name and I know that's a shitty thing to do. Okay. I know that. Right. I don't need judgment. Anyway, you got to be unchanged. But go ahead. You probably don't know. It was changed to begin with. I changed it in another state. He was in from Florida and I changed it in North Carolina. So and what? Oh, that that happens in the social studio. But go ahead. So so all right. So what I'm saying is when I went to the lawyer, paid a lawyer like, I don't know what was 1800 bucks or something, I mean, not of my money stolen money. So I'm willing to spend Bank of America money like, so I go in there and I said, listen, my name was at the time was Michael Eckert. So I'd stolen Michael. This is so bad. So I stole Michael Eckert's name. And just for because I just, you know, like I said, fraud is not a full time job. I'm not working. And I thought, how hard would it be to change someone's name?

58:20How to change this guy's name and then get a social security issue to the new name, which I did. And then so I was trying to figure out how to kind of come up with a synthetic identity that was based on real people. So that ultimately I would have a real identity that was separated, but it was all real based on all real docs. So my first thing was change the guy's name. How hard is that? Go through this process. So I go to a lawyer, I give him like 1800 bucks, he goes, okay, no problem. You know what he did to change the name? You would think it'd be difficult, right? He said, I need your birth certificate. I said, here's my birth certificate. He said, okay. He said, I need you to get two people to sign documents that say that they know you and they've known you for five years and I need those documents notarized. I said, okay, to make sure that this is your real name, I was like, I'm offended. And I was like, okay, so I went and somebody that I had met probably I'd known probably

59:20a month and a half and then my girlfriend had done this other person probably two months. And I said, Hey, listen and explain the whole situation. Can you sign this and notarize it? They said, sure, they both signed it and had them notarize and came back. No big deal. So I would assign both. Yeah, they need to get them notarized, which I could have also done. I pay them over 20 bucks extra. I can't rise all these pieces. I hear you. I hear you. But we figured, get real people. I didn't know if he was going to call them. So I can't pretend to be, you know, Susan for Jonathan, yeah, I know they don't, but, you know, but you don't know, he could have pretend to be, but go ahead, I didn't win they call. So I take these two documents, I fill up the paperwork, I have my birth certificate, I give it to him. He did, he filed a notice, he wrote up a piece of paper, just a notice, and he actually put it on the, they have something inside of the courthouse, they actually had a wall, like a posting wall. He went and he stuck it up on the posted wall for 10 days.

1:00:2310 days later, he took it down, and all the notice said was like, if you have any problem with this person changing their name, please notify me, you know, immediately I'm really filing a motion on this date, notify me of their court prior to this 10 days later, he pulled it off. He filed a motion saying, your honor, I posted this 10 days ago, there is nobody, nobody is setting thing. The other thing a lot of places do is they'll actually put it in the newspaper. And there are these little dummy newspapers that nobody actually buys, but it's a real newspaper, and they run an ad in the newspaper. And after two weeks or 10 days, if nobody has said anything, then they can apply. So he then put in the application to the judge and the judge went, boom, and I got a thing that says, my name is changed, I then can take that official name change, and I went in to the DMV with my driver's license and they changed it on the ID.

1:01:25You then can go to social security and do everything else. It's all changed. So what I'm saying is based on that, that this is how this works, you could take that same exact formula and tell people from the Florida Treasury, you could find people's names that really are owed $10,000, $20,000, $40,000 and say, look, you give me 10% upfront and I'll get you the money, but you got to pay me the 10% upfront. Here's what I do. And you just, if they say, well, what about this? You say, look, I need you to get one person to file this saying that this is, that you are, or two people to notarize these two documents or whatever it is. One person to note that, or as the document says, you are the heir to this person and send me a copy of your birth certificate. And I'm going to file a motion that says, you're the heir to this person. They'll release the $12,000 or $110,000 or $75,000. It's that simple. I do it all the time. If you did that and they went to a website and saw the website and they saw you and

1:02:26say, what am I asking for? I'm asking for you to send me $12,000. It's going to take 90 days for you to get the money. But that's just the way it is. Well, no, I'm not interested. Okay, I understand. I'm just telling you, this is somebody that this is the 90 days is too long for a person that wants to come up. Well, okay. But here's the thing. You get into an accident and flip and they're calling the bank, but I hear you, but I need you need to tell them a certain pair of time because you need to be able to do this scam for at least, let's say, 60 to 90 days and then drag it out for another 30. So you need, if you say 60, then you probably have 90 before these people go to the police. That's where I think that the scam falls because if anybody who was wanting any kind of justification and I come up off of funds and everything, 90 days is an eternity. Yeah, but think of what, okay. I hear you. They don't think bigger picture. It's not a lot of money, though, too. Keep my view. You go to the police and say, Hey, this guy got me for 1200 bucks. Like I would rather get a hundred people for 1200 bucks than get two people for 15,000.

1:03:27You see, I'm saying, I'll take the 100, I'll take that to 100,000 over a hundred thousand dollars. I'll take that. I can get, I can easily get 100 people to give me a thousand dollars within, within 90 days. I don't know that I can get two people on that scam to give me 15 grand, even if I'm hitting up roofers. I mean, I probably could, but that's a lot of phone calls and what if I only get one? What if I get nobody? I'm definitely getting a hundred people, you know, like I think that's the, because a thousand dollars is not a ton of money for somebody that you can go to a dot gov. You can go to Florida dot gov and check and you can check it out and guess what? Jennifer Smith does have $47,000 in the account or, you know, John Atomas does have, it does have $15,000 that's owed to him and I'm telling you right now, if you give me these two things and this and this, I can get you that money. You pay me 1200 bucks up front plus this, you get it. You could get a thousand, especially if they don't look legit and when they call back

1:04:29by the way and 60 days when they don't get their check, you know what you do, you answer the phone. Hey, you know, hi, what's going on? You have your secretary. You got to have a secretary involved. She's got an answer. Then they give it to you. Hold on. I'll have so and so. What happened? It worked out. So, but could you imagine that the secretary answers and she's like, oh, I'm sorry, he's not in. What's going on? And she kind of, she's what now what's that? Well, hold on. Let me take a note. Okay. Well, wait, let me look up on the computer. Hold on. Yeah. You should have had that check issued. You know what? No, no. I have it here. We sent in the paperwork. His Apple computer. Yeah. Yeah. Well, if you sat there and did that and said, no, no, I'll, you know what, I'm going to have Mr. Thomas call you back. So, all right. So you're just keep dragging it out. You get another month. I just need 90 days. You can easily make a hundred grand easily. I think that's very elaborate. I was never that guy like with the elaborate schemes. Yeah. But that's what's great is as they're checking them out as they check them.

1:05:32Listen, not only that, you understand, you can, I can get, you could get an article placed in a, in a, in a, placed on the internet about your company and that this is what you do. They haven't definitely was a trick, Zach, because whoever went through all of that, he would have been like, what the, what, look, there's an article in the paper. It's got to be. I mean, think about it. All of that paperwork had looked legit. And when Zach started looking, an actual article came up from some, listen, you can open up a website. I was, I was convinced anyway, but I don't know if I'm going to say that. But you were convinced, but let's face it, what stopped you was the 15 grand. If it had been 11 or 12 and everything checked out and then you went and you said, let me do some research. Let me look up who this attorney is. 3,200. Yeah. I don't. I think you'd have paid. I think you, I think you think that's funny, but I think I think you'd have paid 11 or so. But I think if it was a cleaner scam, you know, no, because money asked for money.

1:06:35You knew right then. It didn't matter how much. Well, because, well, it's probably, because he kept saying there's something about it. And I kept saying there's something about it, but I don't know what it is because they're not asking for money. As soon as they asked for money, I said, that's what it is, because I'm like somewhere to slide me up. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I was suspicious from the beginning. I was hoping. But, and then, and then, not only was he suspicious, I mean, to be honest, I might have been gotten at that day. Before I did all the research, I might have been gotten, I might have been at three red flag that he uncovered. He justified. Nah, but it's a little shaky for I found out they wanted the money. He had been doing all that money. He kept going, you're wasting your time. Listen, yeah, no, but I'm just going to take a look at this. You know, the wasting your time. Do you know how bad I would, the, the, the, just talking right now and just coming up with this right now on the Florida.gov thing? Any idea how bad it is?

1:07:36I would love to try that scam, but what I just said just now, like if I could get a cart block from the government, that doesn't seem like I would, I've been a week. Very, very, very, very elab, you're talking about the word elaborate and that seems extremely elaborate. How is it elaborate? It's a website. It's a letter, a website, and it's placing one article in a, in a dummy newspaper online so that when they go to look you up, if you even, if the person, if you're on the phone, the person says to you, I don't know, this feels something's wrong and you say, hey, listen, I was written up last month in Business Direct. You can look me up right now. This is what my company does. They were, we just, there was an article last month on us. It's legit, but if you don't want, if you're not involved, I understand. I appreciate it if you change your mind. You're, you're trying, but you're grabbing, it's some instance, you're only going to get $15, $20. What are you going to just turn away all the little ones?

1:08:37What are you talking about? What are you saying? What are you saying? No, I'm, this is the, this is his hustle. I'm saying you, he's going to build it like that and involve all of that stuff and then you literally, you're missing the point. I'm going on to Florida.gov and I'm just searching a name that is owed $45,000. So when I contact you, I explain that there's a loose relation between you, this person and you. So you're related to John Smith. He's owed $45,000. He's deceased. He hasn't claimed the money. It's been there for seven years. Oh, chances of you think you're going to find that. To look up people that are owed $45,000, $7,000, $2,000, $3,000, tons of them. Frank Halter, a Triom's dad was, was paid $65,000. He had 65 grand on there. I was owed, I was owed over $2,000. You're going to find tons of people that were, are owed money and all you have to do. And so you only go with the big ones.

1:09:38You can use the same big one over and over and over again. They don't have to have the same name because you're saying you are related to this person. All I need from you is to provide me with your birth certificate and one letter from a friend saying or from someone that's known you that will say they've known you for over five years and that you are, they are telling you that you are related. I even write the letter. You just have to go get it. Notarized and have your buddy Jennifer sign it. Jennifer will do it. Jennifer, you understand that even if the person says, if the person that gets the letter thinks to themselves, yeah, but I've never heard of this person. You don't vote 99% of people are going to do. I am related. You're right. They're going to say the worst that I was related to that happens to me, but the guy finds like someone's at a department store looking at a shelf and the guy gets a bake all below with full of hundreds and he just kind of reaches underneath. Did you drop this? Yep. Yeah, I did. Then he's like, split it with me and split it with me and some of them are like, okay,

1:10:43because I was like, no, this is mine. What are you talking about? Yeah, I think that that does work because they can now go to florna treasure dot gov and they can look. I've never been to the site. I've been switching over to Zach and he's just, I'm thinking about adding it like, I've never been to that site. So I don't even know how it functions. Oh, it's great. Man, you just you put in, you put in like a name and date to birth or name or whatever. And it will look you, it'll look up like you give me your name. It comes up with all these names and then you click on it and then it will tell you. It'll search it and they'll say, look, this person's owed four different deposit, four different, whatever. And they'll say the deposit one is for 1200, once for 700, once and you end up, you're like, wow, this is $2,300 and 12 cents that this person's owed. So you just turn around and you go find somebody and say, hey, that's actually your money. I just need you to pay me, I'll get it, but give me 10% upfront.

1:11:45That's it. And they can go and check, but they can't get it themselves because if they're thinking, I can get it myself, no, you can't because you and I both know you're not related to that person. But I'm a lawyer and I'm saying there is a connection and all I need from you is to provide me with this and this, I file a motion in the court. They release the money. It's going to take about 90 days and you change their name. I'm not changing. No, but I'm just saying. So what is it that you're going to do that they can't do to get it themselves? Are you just telling them in the letter and on the phone, I'm telling them that this person is related to them, right? There is a loose, there is a relation and it doesn't even matter what the relation is. The person is deceased and based on we had, we had an ancestry person look it up and they're saying that you are their only living relative. And as a result of that, I just need you to to say that you are their only living relative

1:12:46and have this document signed by a friend of yours, send me your birth certificate to prove that it's you. I then file a motion with the court and after it within 90 days, the Florida dot gov, I'm sorry, Florida treasure dot gov will release the funds to you. Well, that's what, so what he's saying is the reason why they can't do it on their own is because they need a lawyer, they need a lawyer, it's a court proceeding and deep down, they're thinking to themselves, like, I've never heard of this person. I may need a lawyer like, like, I can't do this on my own, because I don't know what if they say anything, like, well, what's, what's the connection you say, listen, listen, I know what you are down the line, but no, you don't have to say, I know what you're thinking. You're going to go directly to Florida dot gov or Florida, Florida treasure dot gov and you're going to try and apply for the money without you. So I'm not going to tell you what are, what are ancestry, whatever the name of those people are, I'm not going to tell you how they found this out. Okay, this is what my company does.

1:13:47If you want to check us out, you can go to the website. You want to, don't want to go to the website. You can look me up online and we were in business direct last year or last month, there's an article on my company. This is what we do. I guarantee they go look up, let me look up the company, boom, there's a fucking 1200 page article. They're going to look it up. They're going to be like, fuck these people. This is what this guy does. This is what this company does. They're going to then contact a couple of people and everybody's going to be like, yeah, Florida treasure dot com dot gov. That's a thing. Yeah, I know my friend Jennifer got back $500. Yeah, I looked it up. I got 12 years, but I mean, you're saying they're going to, well, no, I'm saying even if Zach then calls you and says, yeah, uh, uh, uh, Florida treasure dot gov, are you ever heard of that? You're going to be like, yeah, that is the thing where they have the thing that they get people money back. Yeah. Well, I said, I got to let it from a lawyer. You're going to say it's a scam. No, man, I looked it up, then you're going to look it up, but you're going to read the

1:14:48article. You're going to be like, no, this is a thing because there are lawyers that do like is specializes in, oh, it's perfect. The money recovery absolute. I'm going to have people there with each of these testimonies, yeah, I don't know. Listen, I think that's, to me, that's solid. And that doesn't take more than on and off a couple of days to set up. And then I'm telling you, you're going to, you only make $100,000, you have wrote down the whole, if you guys want to know more easily, easily, that's $100,000, that's $100,000 to do. Just you kick back working. Because I got, I got to get hours of, so because I got scammed, he's going to try, I'm not. The premise of this, well, you're going to suggest, I'm not, I'm just saying I would love to try that. I can't, obviously, no, I'm not going to try it. I can't, you're going to, con, con, con copped, I'm saying that's a bit, my scam is better than that scam. My scam. Of course, that's what it works. That one's very, and mine's doable because anybody's going to come up with a thousand

1:15:49or nine hundred, twelve hundred, thirteen hundred dollars, like the millions of people. I like the numbers. Yeah, that's a hundred. And that's nothing. Like, you could easily make two or three hundred thousand dollars and he's, oh, listen, I got way better scams than that that are way easier than that. I'm just saying based on this, that's a similar scam that would easily work and actually yield a ton of money, you know, I feel bad enough that I felt like you don't want to pay. Yeah, I would try that. That's best beneath me. You don't want to compare a scam. Even though I'm retired, you don't want to start out, actually, no, what did your video bring in? That bit of your, um, your video, the outro, you know, the outro, this is all intro. This is all part of it. We're still in the meat and potatoes. What? Yeah. How much did, how much did not money?
