box to news headlines today, you know, I just tell you something first. Yes, man, I have a headline. Okay. I put this up on Facebook. My pictures aren't very good, though. But I would just like to, I would just like to mention that Warren Williams, who's a man that lives in my house, should probably go to jail, lured me home with the promise of fresh baked cookies. I'm a baked cookies. I'm like, I'm excited. I'll be damned if he didn't make oatmeal and cookies. So disgusting. I'm going to seriously break up with him. That is a breaking news story. He, and he made that he didn't buy them, which isn't any better. He bought mix and raisins and then he made them. I would be so ticked. I mean, I just don't know raisin cookies. Okay, but you know her and you know that she doesn't like them. And he knows you. Why didn't he make your fruit salad with it? Yeah, and I kale smoothie. What, what about oatmeal raisin cookies do you like? The oatmeal or the raisins? The other have the oatmeal part of it than just the Lord.
I don't know why. I guess I don't know. You know what it is? I think it goes back to childhood. Do you remember when your teacher like, I don't know it'd be fantastic Friday, which I remember I only participated in to him, because my grades were bad. But anyway, they bring in like, you know, like the grocery brand box in a package of 87 oatmeal cookies. And it was just like it was something. It was a cookie at the time. Okay, well, all right, it's just offensive. And I wanted, I just wanted the public to know. Do you like carrot cake? I don't mind carrot cake. I don't mind it. So carrot cake and oatmeal cookie, oatmeal raisin cookies feel the same. Well, there's no cream cheese frosting on an oatmeal raisin cookies. That is true. But anyway, you're thinking. Are we good to get to the other breaking stories? I would do that. Fine. United Airlines is trimming about 5% of its flights, especially less busy routes because of rising fuel costs. So major hubs could see schedule changes as airlines try to offset the higher oil prices. That said, gas prices in Michigan are up to 392 a gallon, jumping 33 cents in just a week. As tensions rise in the Middle East, experts warm prices could keep climbing,
depending on what happens next. Well, this is great because I've never had to fill up my tank more in my life than I have the past couple of weeks. So I'm really enjoying this. I'm averaging about three times a week. I have to fill it up. And it's about 150 bucks a week. Well, I used to be about $32, $38 to $42 to fill it up. And I'm 55 every time. And it's about three times now. It's brutal, right? Yeah. A Meyer gas station on Grossbeck accidentally sold unleaded mixed with diesel due to a third-party error. But on Meyer's fall, it's the fall to the third party. Impacting customers between March 17th and March 19th. Pumps are shut down once they discovered it. Meyer says they will reimburse anyone who has damage. What would they do to your car? I heard an expert say that it's like if you have a gas car, like we have a, you know, and there's some diesel in it. You might have like smoke coming out the exhaust. But if you have a diesel vehicle and you put gas in it, that's really bad. So that's like, you should know that.
And the United States Postal Service says it could run out of money by October and may stop delivering mail by 2027 without some kind of a change. I think that's got to be rectified. I don't know, that's just a, I don't think it's just more mail. Hasn't hasn't, it's a partisan issue. Hasn't that been a long-term goal of one side to kind of eliminate the post office? Or was it to, what is it? Not make it a defund it? No, when you make it not, not a government agency. How am I going to send my valentine state cards and my Easter cards? Officials are asking for help from Congress, including possible price increase in reforms. And I don't know how your cards will get sent. I don't know. There's bigger fish to fry than your valentine state cards. First of all, we're kind of getting them out on time. Yeah, and then we'll worry about who delivers them. I did buy a couple of Easter cards a couple weeks ago. So I'm hoping that by the big day, I look forward to getting it July. How am I going to see all the postcards of people running for midterm elections that I don't see for two years? And then I see them again.
Hey, I forgot all that, you. I haven't seen you do a thing, but I see your cards in my box. How are you? All right, there you go.
