And Fox News headlines today, I just have to tell you that this shutdown of I-75, the I-75 South ramp to 696 West is now closed. So you have 696, like pretty much unusable most spots. And I'm not complaining and making it all about me. But it's going to be about you right now. Yeah, it's right by you. So this morning I'm driving in. I'm on 75 and I'm talking to Ed and Cheryl, my parents on the phone. Both of them. Both of them at a conference called this morning. And I got all riled up on the phone with them. And before you know it, I'm getting on to the entrance ramp to 696. Yeah. And they're all the barrels and they are on person myself that I didn't pay attention to our own report. Yeah. That thing is going to be closed till I think the end of summer, which means for me to come to work
every day. And I'm only saying this because you're like, well, you have a great life, Jay, why are you? You're right. I have a great life. But you're allowed to still be annoyed by traffic. But I know it doesn't just affect me. It's got effect. And I can't imagine how it affects people that actually do that drive during rush hour. Right. Because I'm on the road at three. So at three, if it's a pain in the neck at three, I can't imagine when it's like at seven. Yeah. Well, I know that even when we leave here sometimes to go to the I heart building. Yeah. Which is like 18 minutes away. It's 30 minutes now. I don't know what's going on that way. But I know the last thing, they always want to fill in some potholes in the middle of rush hour. And it's like, I get that the potholes need to be taken care of. But can we make this like a night project or? But just know this. Coolidge highway or Coolidge Avenue or Coolidge highway, if you call it. It's what it's called. Yeah. It dead ends on to South Boulevard. Okay. Which is up in Detroit, Rochester area. For me to come to work, the most logical way is for me to take that road, which is 35 miles an hour all the way down across Big Beaver, across Maple,
down to Royal Oak to 14 mile, 14 mile to South field road, South field road to nine mile to Fox two. So he's taking back roads the entire way. It's like almost 45 minutes when the other way is 15 jump on 75 be here in like 18 minutes. My gosh. And then getting home, I told you it's a disaster because yeah, it's a close. Now just like I don't understand. I don't understand like they must know that you're screwing people. When you close that ramp and you close that road to like I don't like how do you get around like I it took me like 41 minutes to get here today. Yeah, those are my big pet peeves. I know we have to fix three in the morning. I know that's that my two pet peeves are I know we have to fix things. But I've been seeing construction projects that have been going on for like two years now. It's like wrap that up. So there's that wrap it up. And then also if you're taking away this side, you absolutely have to leave this side. Right. Can't just across the board shut it down. Yeah, it just seems like you're only

I think the whole purpose is to restore the bridges that go over the roother. And then what are you going to do? You can't do that with cars there. I mean, I get it. No, that's true. But it's just like it's so not and by the way, people know this too to come the other way. But if you're in if you're in Farmington Hills and you want to jump on 696 and go to the Oakland Mall or I mean, you take 696 and then you can't you go to the lodge. You go to eight mile. You drive from eight mile to 75. I mean, it's like it's crazy. I mean, that's not a detour. That's a that's completely different. It is. Yeah. No, that is crazy. I wonder the governor said she was going to fix the damn rose. She did. He did. So promise kept and thank you seriously. But I wonder if the new people running for governor, like maybe they should say and this will be their winning road. No, they're winning strategy will be like we're not fixing any
anything. We're not closing any roads. Open the roads. Yeah. Open the roads. Open the roads. Like you went through this with 275. I feel like 275 was under construction for years. Yeah, 275 right now. My thing is I take Southfield to 94 and my ramp is closed. So I have to get off on outer drive and I have to. So hold on. And and then I told you right out in front of my complex, but I can't really complain because nothing I can still turn out. And what I lost one of my exits when I go home, I have to get off on the the second Ipsi address for you. The one that moved the barrel. I did not this time did not now move that barrel under normal circumstances. That'd be a good. Did. Thought. Am I right, Chelsea, too? Didn't knew about myself flying. Wasn't there a point? I thought I was talking to you in the morning. I made a couple of years ago where you couldn't get on 96 weren't you taking back roads? Yeah, yes. So when we were in Farmington, I had to take 10 mile all the way down to to Hallstead because I don't remember if all the ramps
were closed or what was going on. But yeah, it's just it's been a nightmare. I'll put on Facebook right now. I'll ask the question. I'm just going to simply say like what location or what road is now your biggest nightmare? Just just curious to know how many people say go to the J towers and weren't Facebook and we'll all share it. But see what you think.
