Couple Fox two news headlines this morning. Developing overseas reports say missiles fired by Iran and Iranian-backed militias hit the U.S. embassy compound in Kuwait with fire and smoke seen inside officials confirmed the strike. There's no word on injuries. I'm sure they would have been evacuated by now. Kuwait officials also say several U.S. warplanes crashed, though all the pilots safely bailed out. This of course, after all the tension rising with the killing of the supreme leader, the Ayatollah. So there's that happening. The President promising retaliation after three U.S. service members were killed sadly during operation epic fury. Can I- One last thing? Okay. Then it's all you. Why is this all happening? Yeah. The U.S. says Iran was moving closer to developing nuclear weapons, was not willing to stop its nuclear research. The administration says the strikes were meant to prevent that from happening.
Iran views the strikes as an act of aggression and as responded with military retaliation. And now both sides are exchanging attacks. Tensions are rising across the regions. What will it do with stocks and what will it do with gas prices and things like that all? Something happening. They're all looking at today. I'm sorry. I can't be worried about that stuff. It seems like there's bigger things. I hopefully not. I tend to get paranoid sometimes, but- Well. Kind of a bigger deal. The big thing is- Yeah. What happens at- Yeah. What happens at home? Are you talking to Doug Luzator today? I will talk to Doug Luzator. I just had a couple of questions. This isn't a question I had, but I just thought it was interesting the choice of words that you said the President said something about their retaliation, but it was like, didn't- I think they'll be held to pay for your attack, but didn't we- And also- Did it? And also, and I don't know this. Maybe it's a question for Doug, but don't we have to vote on-
Don't we have to go to Congress and- Yeah. Congress is not- Vote on whether or not we do things- Congress has not formally declared war under the War Powers Act. The President must notify Congress within 48 hours of military action, and without congressional authorization, U.S. forces are generally limited to 60 days with a 30-day withdrawal period. So you can still be the President and do war. Just Congress on recess. Again. Oh, aren't- They have a lot of breaks. Is there winter breaks still in effect? I might- You shouldn't even be joking about this. No. Everything's so sad right now. My thing is always bring everybody back. Bring them all back. No one gets a weekend. It wouldn't that's it when that's- For real. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's crazy and- Yeah. The news was way more fun last week when we thought they were going to see like new alien stuff released. That was way- Yeah. That was more fun. Yeah. It is- It is really unsettling though to think of what could be happening here. Yeah. Well, yeah. And that's-
Excuse me. The big thing is, yeah. Are there- Like sleeper cells. Sleeper cells here and people loyalists and what will happen- There actually weren't- There actually weren't- That's- That's- That already happened. Yeah. Allegedly. Allegedly. Yeah. You can't jump to that total conclusion yet, but it appears that way. Here's something a little closer to home. Orange barrels are returning to restore the roof. Oh, good. More construction headaches today as M.Dot begins the next phase of restore the roofer. Roofer. Roofer. Whatever. Roofer. Roofer. Whatever. Mr. Roof guy's going, no, no, no, no, not me. No, no, no. No, no, no. There's basically like one road really to get in and out of South Lyon, and that road is closing from March until November. So I don't know how I'm supposed to get anywhere- Yeah, sucks to be you, huh? Yes. It makes me worse. You could, you know, live right off I-75 before a 15 year project.
You know what? I'm done hearing about that. I'm- I'm not done marveling at how that was allowed to happen. I know. And it's still going on. I know. And with the restore the roofer, that means shutting down ramps to both 696 and I-75 drivers should plan for detours and delays as you have for most of the year. So there you go. That's what's happening right now. We've got a couple headlines there. We continue to follow. I hope we've educated you a little bit. Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing, victory lane? Yeah, it's even better with Chamba by my side. Race to ChambaCasino.com, let's Chamba. We've got purchase necessary, VGW Group, voidware prohibited by law, CTNCs, 21 plus sponsored by ChambaCasino.
