On April 24th, four young men just faced charges at the Old Bailey for torching four ambulances from a Jewish volunteer service in North London last month. It went down in the early hours of March 23rd when three of them allegedly lit the fires while the fourth hung back in a getaway car, a blue Toyota Aventis. The blaze was massive, with gas canisters inside exploding and racking up about 1 million pounds in damage to the vehicles alone, plus hits too. Thereby flats in the synagogue. These ambulances belong to Hatsola, which serves the Golders Green Jewish community, and prosecutors call it a straight up targeted hate attack. Hamza Itbal, a 20-year-old, Rehan Khan, 19, Judex Atschi, 18, and a 17-year-old boy all got hit with criminal damage. Charges, Nobel, straight to custody, with police set for August 28th and trial kicking off January 27th next year.
