Forty-Niners Sign Vederian Lowe for Offensive Line Boost

The San Francisco 49ers are bolstering their offensive line by signing Tackle Viderian Low to a two-year contract. Reports say the deal is worth up to $12 million, with $5.75 million guaranteed. Low, a 26-year-old free agent, comes over from the New England Patriots. Low stepped in for the Pats last season, starting four games at left Tackle when their starter dealt with a knee injury. He played in 29% of offensive snaps and 20% on special teams during that time. Over his career, the sixth round pick from 2022 has appeared in 46 games with 25 starts, split between Minnesota and New England. He got traded to the Patriots in late August of that year. For the 49ers, low figures to serve as a swing Tackle, ready to fill in anywhere on the line. He could also step up if they decided to part ways with veteran trend Williams.
