Ford Recalls Over 83K Vehicles for Safety Issues

The first recall covers nearly 48,000 model-year 2025 vehicles, including the Ranger, Mustang, Maverick, Explorer, Escape, Bronco Sport, Lincoln Nautilus, and Corsair. The problem involves an exhaust gas recirculation valve that could fail and cause a sudden loss of drive power. This defect raises the risk of a crash, especially on busy roads. No injuries have been reported so far, but Ford urges owners to stay vigilant until repairs are done. Meanwhile, the second recall affects over 35,000 model-year 2025 and 2026 Ford explorers. Their headlights may point in the wrong direction because of a software glitch in the headlamp control module, creating glare for other drivers, and boosting crash chances.
