Forbes' Contract Year: Rams' Cornerback Battle

Forbes landed with the Los Angeles Rams fast, but now it's crunch time. The Rams passed on his fifth year option, turning this into a straight up contract year. He needs big jumps and training camp to stick around. Fans and analysts keep calling it one of Rivera's worst calls, especially since Gonzalez is thriving with the New England Patriots. They already picked up his fifth year option and a huge extension looks likely. Meanwhile, Forbes got exposed last season against bigger receivers and the Rams noticed. The Rams loaded up their cornerbacks by this offseason, trading for Trent McDuffy and signing Jalen Watson from Kansas City. Those two are the new starters, so Forbes has to battle just for snaps.
