Folge 83: Developer Productivity

Zu oft versuchen Unternehmen Developer Productivity einfach messbar zu machen und auf wenige Metriken herunterzubrechen. Dabei fällt noch immer die Wahl häufig auf die DORA Metriken. Dieser Ansatz schlägt jedoch oft fehl, da sich Softwareentwicklung nicht mit einer Fließbandproduktion vergleichen lässt und DORA sich im Wesentlichen mit der Reife des DevOps Prozesses beschäftigt. Wer Developer Productivity verstehen und verbessern möchte, muss mit den Entwickler:innen sprechen. Nur dadurch können Blocker beseitigt und Faktoren wie Developer Satisfaction berücksichtigt werden.
