Nachdem wir uns in Folge 6 bereits mit Containern und Docker beschäftigt haben, hat Robin-Manuel dieses mal ein spezielles Thema aus diesem Umfeld mitgebracht: Softwareentwicklung innerhalb eines Containers.
Ein Container kann nämlich nicht nur für den Betrieb einer Anwendungen, sondern auch während der Entwicklung genutzt werden, um einen großen Teil der benötigten Tools, im Rahmen einer einheitlichen Umgebung, für alle Teammitglieder bereit zu stellen. In Kombination mit einem Editor wie Visual Studio Code, der eine direkte Einbindung von Dev Containern ermöglicht, wird man so fast unabhängig von den Werkzeugen auf dem eigenen Entwicklungsrechner.
