Thirty-year-old Marvin Lequith Schultz Jr. was driving his gray Ford Fusion West on Lake Roles Road around 8.30 p.m. when a truck pulled up, alongside an unleashed a barrage of gunfire. This all stemmed from an ongoing beef between Schultz and the folks in that truck, according to deputies with the Highlands County Sheriff's Office. The shooters sped off after opening fire, turning what could have been a simple dispute into a fatal chase. Schultz's car veered off the road, plowed through two front yards, smashed into a parked vehicle, and finally ran to house near the front door, causing serious damage. Luckily, no one inside the home got hurt, but the crash aftermath highlighted just how chaotic things got. Officials have nabbed the truck driver, 31-year-old Andrew Anthony Berry, hitting him with a second-degree murder, shooting from a vehicle and improper fire arm display charges.
