Florida High Stars Clash in NCAA Tournament

0:00On March 20, Miami Guard trade Donaldson and Missouri Guard Anthony Robinson, the second face-off Friday night in the first round of the NCAA, Tournament. Tipoff is at 10-10 PM when the Hurricanes take on the Tigers. These two are former teammates from Florida High, where they helped win the class 3-A stay title in 2022. That championship came under coach Charlie Ward, who's now at Florida A&M. This is not their first college clash, though. They met last on March 5, 2024, when Donaldson played for Auburn and Robinson was a Missouri freshman. Donaldson has bounced around, spending two years at Auburn, won at Michigan, and now he's Miami's second leading scorer at 16.5 points per game. He also tops the team with 5.8 assists. Robinson, in his third year with the Tigers, averages 8.8 points under coach Charlton C.Y. Young, a former Florida state assistant. The Florida High Ties go further.
