Florida Gators Sweep Kentucky, Dominate Inside

It marked the third win for Florida over Kentucky to season, and they never trailed in any of the three games. This sweep is the first time Florida has taken all three meetings from Kentucky since 2014. Coach Todd Goatton pointed out the Gators' total command throughout the matchups. A former Gator, Denzel Aberdeen, transferred to Kentucky last year and praised his new team as better than Florida. Fans and observers noted the irony after Florida's front-end-core players shown brightly against them. Florida's Big Men averaged double-digit points and rebounds per game with strong shooting, outpacing Kentucky centers and forwards. The Gators also clamped down on Aberdeen and Kentucky Guard Otega Oei, holding them to low efficiencies despite their scoring.
