Florida Gators Secure SEC Title, Eye NCAA Seed

The Gators clinched their first regular season conference title since 2014, wrapping up with a 25 and 6 record. They dominated the league by three full games after a rocky start to the season. Earlier this year, Florida dropped out of the national rankings by early January following some early losses. But they flipped the script with just two defeats since the new year and an 11-game win streak to close things out, including an 84-2. 77 victory over Kentucky last Saturday. Other teams like Arkansas, Alabama and Vanderbilt could pose challenges, though Florida handled Arkansas by more than 30 points last month. Alabama won nine of its last 10 to grab a strong seed while Vanderbilt stayed competitive after a hot start. The tournament kicks off Wednesday in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena and runs through Sunday, March 15, with games on ESPN and the SEC Network.
