Florida Gators Chase Fourth Title in NCAA Tournament

0:00On March 17th, the Florida Gators are heading into the 2026 NCAA Tournament as a number one seed for the second straight year, a first in, program history as they chase a fourth national title. They just won their third championship last season under coach Todd Golden, beating Houston in the final after knocking off strong teams like Yukon, Texas Tech, and Auburn along the way. Over the years, Florida has made 24 official tournament appearances with a 51 wins and 20 losses record, including six final fours, and three titles in 2006, 2007, and 2025. Early coaches like Norm Sloan got them their first bids in the late 1980s, though some were later vacated due to violations, while Lawn, Kruger led them to the program's first final four in 1994.
