The Calgary Flames pulled off a thrilling 5-4 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night, snapping their 4-game winless streak. Joel Farby led the way with two goals and an assist, while Morgan Frost chipped in a goal and two assists. Ryan Strohm made a strong debut for Calgary with a goal and an assist, teaming up with newcomer Ali Mahada. Blake Coleman also had a goal and an assist, and goal-tender Dustin Wolf stopped 25 shots to seal the victory. For the Hurricanes, who lead the Eastern Conference, Seth Jarvis tallyed a goal and two assists in the loss, their second in regulation over the last, 16 gangs.
