First Watch: Fire Captain Charged in Double Murder & A Death Row Controversy

In California, 29-year-old Marissa Divodi-Lessa and her 7-year-old son Josiah were murdered this August. Prosecutors say the killer was Marissa’s boyfriend, Cal Fire captain Darin McFarlin, who now faces two counts of first-degree murder. His preliminary hearing is set for October 16th.
