First Step

0:00This week's Parsha is Bishalach. Whereas last week in Parsha's bowl was beginning of Yatesia Smith's rhyme, the Exodus of Egypt. In this week's Parsha, the Jews began to circuit this route, the long route to Eritre Surah. So there's an interesting part of the Parsha in Puzzle, Tesvolve, where it says, Bayomar Hashem al-Mosha, Hashem says, the Mosha, Ma'at, tits like a lie. Why are you screaming? Why are you crying out? Dobr al-Benei Surah, I'll speak to the Jewish people. So it does go. What's the context? The Jewish people were stuck in the middle. Behind them were the Egyptians chasing them, trying to murder them. In front of them is the red sea. And they don't know where to go. Well, they're supposed to jump into the sea. If they turn back, they're going to get killed. So the commentaries, including the Orchain, they ask the very basic question, when a Jew is faced with a trial, when a Jew is faced with a challenge, what are you supposed to do other than pray? That's what they were doing. They're crying out to Hashem. Hashem helped us.

1:00Hashem said, was, why was that a problem? He said, he wanted them to take that first step into the sea. And as soon as they say that the water reached the nose level, all of a sudden, it split into 12, and the famous story of the splitting of the sea takes place. So the Reynumachai explains that sometimes in life, we have a challenge. It can be a spiritual challenge, it can be a spiritual challenge. And yes, we have to pray. We have to do our stuff.

2:01Look, we have to realize sometimes, just take that first step. And when you take that first step, all of a sudden realize, hey, it's not so bad. I think I can figure it out. If I do this, then I do that. Yeah, we can work this out. And in spiritual, spiritually as well, that the Jews people here, yes, they had to pray to Hashem. Hashem said, it's a little bit more now. Take that first step. Show me your serious, show me your intent. Show me that you wanted to happen. And all of a sudden, the most miraculous of miracles happen. You have to remember, we have a challenge. Compart to mentalize our problems. Take that first step. And all of a sudden, we'll realize it's really not that terrible. Yeah. Have a great day.
