Firefighters Rescue Dogs from Durham House Fire

The blaze broke out in the 2300 block of Crane Street around 10-20pm. Crews arrived to heavy flames pouring from the home. It took about 15 minutes, three hose lines, and 35 firefighters to knock down the fire. Officials say the quick word prevented it from spreading further. Even firefighters suffered minor burns and got treatment, but no one else was hurt. The two dogs pulled from the house received care, right there from county emergency medical services. The Red Cross stepped in to help two adults who live there. Everyone is safe now, thanks to the fast response.
