About this episode
A single line can change how you work, love, and show up: “Find what you love and let it kill you.” We unpack the shock and reveal the core idea—this isn’t about destruction, it’s about devotion. When you choose one worthy pursuit and give it your full attention, boredom loses its grip, noise fades, and momentum begins to build. Through vivid examples—from Alex Honnold’s extreme focus to a ballerina’s sacred practice—we explore what it looks like to go all in without tipping into burnout.
And, as a special bonus, I want to give you FREE access to my signature course, Slay Your Year (usually $997)! All you have to do is:

Welcome to Let It Be Easy with Susie Moore. Today I'm sharing with you one of my all-time favorite quotes that's often miss and opportune, and even miss a trivia did. It's from author Charles Spakowski and he said, find what you love and let it kill you. I mean, think about that. He's a dramatic writer or he was a dramatic writer and that's a dramatic statement, isn't it? Find what you love and let it kill you. This is not about destruction. This is not about harm. This is not about obsession. It is about total devotion. Think about that. Most people can go through life half dead from being bored, from semi-commitments, from being half in, from being lukewarm. What he's saying in this sentence is, go all in on the thing
that you love. Haven't you ever observed this? I had the pleasure of having Sonny Honoldo on the podcast. Definitely check out our interview. And Alex Honoldo, her husband, was just the number one Netflix show because he climbed a building in Taipei. He also climbed without a rope. I'm not suggesting this, my friends. But what I am telling you, what I'm revealing to you is he has found what he loves and at all costs pursues it. Yours might look completely different. I'm certainly not climbing anything without a rope or even with a rope. But what is it that you love? I knew a ballerina in New York and she would just practice and practice and practice. And there was an energy and a connection that she almost had with God I felt when she was in the studio, letting it kill her. When we devote ourselves to what matters, it might be your family, it certainly might be your work, it might be getting to the bottom of something. You tap into
reserves that you didn't even know that you had. Distraction falls away, noise falls away, even conflict in your life. There's no place for it because of your devotion. Let it kill you, my gosh. Let it take over your schedule. Let it take over your attention. Let it take over most importantly your excuses. What is it that you love? What is worthy of your devotion? It's not about burning out. It's not about going crazy. It's not about losing perspective and forgetting to shower. I mean, and just going all in on the one thing without any regard for anyone else or your health. No. It's not asking you to burn out. It's asking you what's worth burning for. And it's the possibility of having a dream come true. It's living in your perfect
self-expression that makes life worth living. Until tomorrow, my friends, so much love and ease. Hey friend, I've got something really cool for you. I want to give you a free access to my signature course called Slay Your Year, which typically sells for $1,197. You can check it out all the details at SlayYourYear.com.
