Feds Seize Iran-Linked Hackers' Domains

Investigators say these sites were run by a cyber outfit using names like Homeland Justice and Handala Hack tied to Iran's Ministry of Intelligence and Security. The group targeted government systems, private people, and key infrastructure with data theft and public leaks. The hackers pulled off ransomware hits, website takeovers, and doxing against their enemies. Back in 2022, they hit Albania's government networks, stealing sensitive national security info, and later trying to sell it all mine. An undercover FBI agent even bought some of that stolen data on Albanian citizens in 2025. These attacks hit hard, disrupting hospital systems, and emergency comms in Maryland recently. Patients and staff had to switch to backups, while the group threatened dissidents and folks connected to Israel by dumping their personal details. Agents found the hackers used fake software as malware to sneak into computers and stick around.
