Favour Nwaedozi Returns for Senior Season

The 6-foot-3-forward has dominated in her first year after transferring in, starting 29 of 30 games while averaging 12 points, 2 points and 10 rebounds per contest. She shot 53% from the field and recorded 14 double doubles, including highs of 30 points and 23 boards. Nua Dozy brings a unique path to the Bulldogs. Originally from Delta, Nigeria, she spent two college seasons playing in Japan for Mukogawa Women's University, where she averaged 26 points and 17 rebounds to help win a regional title. That international experience has translated well to southeastern conference play. Her decision comes at a perfect time for Coach Sam Purcell, a mid-a-rebuilding year. The Bulldogs sit at 18 wins and 10 losses after losing most of their previous core, but they ended the regular season on a tough four-game.
