Father-Son Duo Completes 100 Marathons for Hospice

0:00On April 27th, Gary McKee, a 56-year-old from Cleatermore in Cumbria, just crushed 100 marathons and 100 straight days to. Fund raise for hospice at Home West Cumbria. He wrapped it up at the London Marathon on Sunday, crossing the finish line hand-in-hand with his 18-year-old son Bo, and already raised over. 70,000 pounds. He kicked off the challenge back in January, running 26.2 miles each day while working at Celefield. Bo joined him for at least part of every single run, earning Gary his local nickname Marathon Man, and an MBE in the King's New Year honors. Folks on the course were tapping them on the shoulders, calling it inspirational, and even Sir Moufaris stopped by at the start, telling Gary his, Effort was incredible.
