You know what it is a new regime New freshness Mike McCarthy the great thing about this transition to Mike McCarthy as the head coach is

3:13He's been around a block a few times this isn't his first rodeo so he understands Relationships he's understands coming into a new organization and not changing the entire DNA of the organization Just adding some of his his individual Football thoughts and DNAs into the process and people have really bought into what he's selling and not to meet you got a Respect him. He's a super one in coach. He he's shown the ability to be successful So it's not like it's a new you know Joe coming into the building who's never done it before who doesn't have a positive resume The players love it, you know Aaron Rodgers said that was solely why he decided to return for one more year was because I might McCarthy coming in and being a headman in charge So so far so good, you know and and as long as they put forth a great football product on the football field You won't hear any issues coming from Pittsburgh All right, that's interesting you mentioned the guy we're gonna get to pretty soon because we have our own quarterback issue We'll get to that but but let's leave us alone. Let's talk about the Steelers and Aaron Rodgers and how much do we as Falcons fans

4:19Who have to worry about Aaron Rodgers does he still have it? Can he still help you guys win? Do you really feel like I know you're kind of hamstrung because you can't say Aaron Rodgers sucks the infeed You never say that but is Aaron Rodgers good enough to get them back to where you or mr. McFadden to Superbowl? You know what I'm not gonna throw out Superbowl aspirations just yet, but he is gonna have to get you into the tournament Right and that's the first step in trying to get close to the championship is getting into the playoffs They did that a year ago It was a short stay in the playoffs, but he was good enough to get them into the playoffs I believe he has a saying athletic attribute When you look at what's surrounding him the office line. I think should be better Right bringing in Michael Pittman Jr I think it improves the white receiver unit as a whole Jermaine Bernard from the second rounder from Alabama I think he has he's gonna have some impact on this team, obviously as well. So yeah, he he still has it Is he the MVP Aaron Rodgers?

5:21No, he's nowhere close is he a top five quarterback in the NFL? No, he's not right but He can give you serviceable production And he's still smart above the shoulder game still hasn't gone into where the the interlec is still intact You know, it's just the athleticism that he once has has taken a decline Which is expected when you're in your 40s, you know what I mean? So for Aaron Rodgers, you know, I still believe he has the goods to get it done and I'm not gonna sit here and say yeah, he can be he can get you to the Superbowl But if he gets you to the playoffs, you guys know what happened anything can happen. Yeah, anything to the playoffs Speaking of We just talk about age age of Aaron Rodgers. He's up there up there in age You got some deepers of players too that's been up there in the age and I think I added some new players So I added like basically a new secondary up there three new secondary guys in all season But up front you still got the agent Hayward Who's on who's an age I can't think of his name right now who's on the edge?

6:23You know watch yeah, he's up there in age now like how's that how's that mix gonna be are y'all kind of like It's not so both a bus, but it kind of it's kind of like Aaron Rodgers last right But how's the how's the team gonna gel with knowing that it's his last right and plus you got to kind of rebuild at the same time That's we know why I'm getting that Yeah, you know what that's a good question because I asked the cam Hayward that question with him being the senior of the team I played with cam Hayward that's how wow that's how long cam has been the league actually cam Hayward is the longest tenure defensive tackle in the national football league in the history of this season makes him the longest tenure defense attack, right? But I asked him that question is there any pressure for you guys knowing that this is Aaron Rodgers Last dance and trying to do whatever it is to get him to have his final game being out late and he said it is pressure But as an NFL player you guys know it's pressure anyway

7:25If there's a veteran player that's making it is his last year in a league It's always pressure to try to go out and perform to the best of your ability But defensively they have a nice mix of age and youth Well, you talk about cam Hayward. Yes, he's the oldest guy no defense, but his his play doesn't say that He still plays extremely well fundamentally sound use great technique Look at TJ white. He's been around the block for quite some time But he's still productive and then you look at Nick Herbick who's a rotational past Russia who they just paid Handsomely you look at Alex Heismith who's younger than TJ white then you look at the interior with Derek Harmon Would he use utilize a first-round draft make on? Over a year ago from Oregon. He's in year two he on the bit and so they got a nice mix of youth and And and and and seeing your ship If if if if that's the thing in terms of the mix and then second day wise, you know You got Jalen Ramsey you brought in Jamil Dean cornerback, you know You look at us asante Samuel Jr

8:27Who's been playing phenomenal football even though you have a contract dispute going on with Joy Porter Jr You know when he's out there. He's a he's a guy that can give you sound curvature and lockdown coverage as well So I like the mix and I like the the mix of talent, you know experience talent and you got some up and comers as well That's great and you know be back again believing Falcons presented by Fandall one of the Fandall odds out there is the Falcons are Underdog I think three and a half points. So everyone thinks the Falcons are gonna lose Three and a half points. I think that's a sense of I think we're gonna win outright But we lose we ain't lose my more than three points. I think that's a great bid But they also over under is 41 and a half so Fandall saying the over under is 41 and a half they're saying it's gonna be You know not too high scoring the fifth of struggle that leads us to Outquarter back shot my your quarterbacks. Out quarterback It's to a tongue of I oh, I hope I said that right to a has been up He's been down people have talked about him needing to retire after stincustions and you know that picture

9:28We all have a pin on the ground with fingers curled up like why are you still doing this if you get to hit one more time This may happen Pettics has been honest. I'm not in my own skin Or at a level to where I feel like I can go out of the field and trust my body Can't to a trust his body knowing that he's won two hits away from Maybe not playing football ever again. I would have loved to have seen him perform higher in the preseason So that everyone coming to this first game saying oh, yeah, two of them be great Two hasn't been horrible But he hasn't been the two that we want him to be at his height in Miami Do you think Fandall and though the automakers are correct in that It's not gonna be a high scoring game especially because on our side our offensive fire I guess firepower at the quarterback is low Yeah, I think fan dude is the fan duel is dead on from both sides the total And and and the the under in the favorite. I think Pittsburgh is a better team Three and a half is that sweet spot

10:30It's it's a sound number and also when you look at the total being really really low You guys know this being from a players week one is the week unknowns You know what you're gonna get You know the game like who would have thought kick off game against Seattle new wing will be such a low scoring affair Right because usually offense is kind of It takes some time and and we're in this day and age and NFL is a lot different than what it was when we played We remember we had four preseason games and against play the starters played they played more In preseason play than what they do now and I think that's why we're seeing some chemistry concerns offensively because these quarterbacks ain't really playing in preseason play and I didn't really I agree with you Ovi I felt like with Kevin's defense you taking over for the Falcons bringing in new new pieces I lied the quarterback into a tongue of I lower. I felt it was imperative for him to play the preseason Now be John Robinson has earned the right to not play right right right and you don't need to see a lot of Drake May and Kyle pits

11:31But be John is the one guy who shouldn't play in the preseason for Atlanta because you know who he is And you know how much you have to lean on him but for two The chemistry the rhythm offensively he's a rhythm quarterback You need to get those reps and people say well They participated in all the joint practices Yeah, guys Even though it's preseason game People watching is different as you know if you get beaten practice Again in a joint practice session. Oh man. I got beat but it's practice Yeah, yeah, like Like turt Michael you run a toss and you get hit and you foam in the ball and the joint practice I humble but But I hear it all the time. I know you guys hear it all the time Well, it was a joint practice session against the dolphins and they got rip it's not the same bruh it ain't

12:36So we'll see Sunday in terms of there's any chemistry issues with Tuha in the small sample size in the preseason He didn't really look good you wanted. I'm cool with that, but do I think y'all are much better team than us? No Tell Mike I do not think that y'all have questions concerns as with because y'all got a new coach for a reason Just like we got coach for a reason Hey, I'll tell you this much and y'all with y'all would be lying if y'all tell me You don't you don't think Mike McCarthy is a better coach than Kevin's offense. I don't know how many times Mike you played against Cleveland and oh yeah, I know you played against Cleveland a few times in Baltimore

Yeah, they never had a quarter they never had a quarterback every time we played them They had no quarterback Tim Townsor this guy So Hey Yeah, he was a he's a playoff coach in Dallas. You know the mean did he get him to a championship? No I mean they've had a lot of coaches who we haven't gotten to that level But you can't say he he disappointed in Dallas. I won't say that Just the expectations are higher in Dallas than they are In Cleveland in our roster as constructed is better. We have a better quarterback even though an arrives is 42 He's better than to a tongue-by-law Right The don't know we don't do that. Don't you do that? Don't you do I want to though. I don't know who starts Yeah, but I think both guys can be effective To your point the in the interior of the defense align for Atlanta And if you Pittsburgh if you want to slow the game down and you keep be John and Drake and in Cal on the on the sideline do it I'm okay running the football and slowing the game down a little bit. Yeah I just I just hope that we can take the crowd out out out of it at some point in the game because y'all get loud and picks burger man Tell them but those Superlives get going and y'all and y'all play with some of the other things on the heavy metal music. It's the Matt Ryan era that means something Matt Ryan the guy who beat you What he beat everybody on the NFL Matt Ryan is now the president football operation He's brought the certain type of swagger to the team that's gonna allow us to those close games that we lose We're gonna win those this gonna be a close game. We're gonna win because Matt is gonna be in the front office the back office in the locker room

27:06My boy all he knows how to do is win except for that one time we'll talk about but all you know how to do is win Are you gonna help us wins? I'm confident in Matt. We trust you know what I applaud at Lena for giving a guy like Matt Ryan Opportunity to be in the front office. I wish more organizations do that with former players who really know the game You know what I mean? And to your point. I think it's gonna do a good job. It's not gonna help week one We might see Jack strain in the lineup. We might see all stop now the jacksman music right now I'll tell you. 29:08I mean, ain't too many good things coming from the Cleveland Browns organization That's true, but it's gonna be one of them man. It's gonna be one of them I was with you at first because I was like Stavansky all that stuff with the Shadur I was like, I don't know about this but after meeting Stavansky after here with the players say going to practice seeing how they keep on saying the adult turn the room after Rahim He was I guess too much of a player's coach. I love Rahim, but you can see Stavansky has a different level of accountability and expectations and you know brotherhood that's all great, but it's about Production and results and I love that you know more Professional way of going about the season. So I'm excited to see what that looks like on the field And honestly I respect Kevin Stavansky to your point. He did a really good job Doing more with less while he was in Cleveland Honestly, so I do respect him as a head coach. I respect him as a football mind I just don't expect for him to be at his best Sunday in the other Sunday

30:10Yeah, yeah, I just don't And he know he's used to going to Accus your stadium in losing. He's used to that Oh He's used to coming to Pittsburgh and taking a L It's not the unfamiliar spot for Kevin Stavansky. All right, so I forgot about yeah, he's been there quite a time. It might be it might be a land of advantages You never know he got better weapons now But I think they beat us in the playoffs in Pittsburgh one time too under him. So yeah, yeah Oh, that's right. I'm a game So you It'll be back before we get you out of here man give us one thing as you be like so I'm gonna be like the X factor for Your team to beat the Falcons and I'm gonna ask Mike what's the X factor for the Falcons to be the Steelers I'll say for Pittsburgh it's Chris Boswell our kicker

31:13Special teams is always a key factor especially potential low scoring games You know sometimes you guys know when it's a low scoring affair where defenses are kind of dominating They dictate the flow of the game field goes feel like touchdowns Because it's hard they get into that red area to to score touchdown So I think Chris Boswell man who's won a high level kickers in a national football league I think he could be a X factor especially this is a low scoring effect Minus copets my copets can we can we get him going can we get him rolling can he can he have a I'd say two touchdowns. I would love to have two touchdown But something that we're getting those intermediate throws, you know, I'm saying those 10-15 yard catches Those can we stay third and short, you know, like you know, you know, can we keep it manageable? So we can have him be a factor because y'all got you know, so you got Ramsey and and Porter Jr on the outsides right What is copets gonna do in the middle of the field and stuff like that?

32:14Are we gonna move him around and give him and into some mismatches that we can exploit the Pittsburgh defense I like it. Yeah, and I'll see you at hot.
