Falcons Sign Ex-Patriots: Hooper, Folk, Bailey

0:00For the NFL, it's March 9th. Here's what's happening. The Atlanta Falcons are adding some former New England Patriots to their roster. Reports hit on Monday afternoon about Titan Austin Hooper and kicker Nick Folk signing with Atlanta. Both players have recent ties to the Patriots. Folk spent four seasons there from 2019 to 2022. Hoopers suited up for them during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. The Falcons are not stopping there. They're also bringing in Punter Jake Bailey, another expatriate. New England drafted him in the fifth round of the 2019 draft, and he played his first four years with the team. Bailey shone brightest in 2020. That year, he averaged 48.7 yards per pun, good for fourth in the league. It earned him first team all pro honors and a pro bowl selection. After leaving for the Miami Dolphins in 2023, Bailey spent the last three seasons there. Now, he is signing a three-year deal with Atlanta worth $9 million, including $5 million fully guaranteed.
