Falcons Sign 41-Year-Old Kicker Nick Folk

Now the team is turning to 41-year-old Nick Folk as their kicker for 2026. Folk has been the most accurate kicker in the league over the past three seasons, converting 28 out of 29 field goals last year and, going perfect on all extra points. Since 2022, he has not fallen below 95% on field goals. Fans and analysts see this as a smart move to avoid more kicking woes after recent instability. Gonzalez did well down the stretch, but Folk's track record offers even greater reliability. He is also strong from 50 yards and beyond, making 18 of 20 attempts in that span and can handle kickoffs for added team flexibility.
