Ex-Cowboys' Trysten Hill Arrested for Assault

The 28-year-old faces charges for assaulting a pregnant person and interfering with an emergency call for help. Jail records confirm he was taken into custody there. He got booked at the Wayne McCollum Detention Center with his bond set at $3,500. Officials have released the identity of the pregnant victim yet, and details on what led to the incident are still coming out. Hill came into the league with hype as the Cowboys second-round pick, 58th overall back in 2019. But he never lived up to it, playing just 25 games over four seasons in Dallas with half a sack and 33 tackles total. The team waved him in 2022, then he bounced to the Arizona Cardinals for a sack and some tackles, followed by short stints on the new. England Patriots practice squad, and a couple games, he sat unsigned all of 2025. This arrest hits hard for a guy whose career already fizzled, and it might slam the door on any NFL comeback for good.
