Ewshot 750 Banger Challenge for Hospice

0:00In Lester, it's March 10. Here's what is happening. Seventeen drivers have bought cars for 750 pounds or less each, and they're gearing up to drive them 750 miles across. England and Wales. The trip supports the Phyllis-Tuckwell hospice, which offers specialist care for patients in Surrey and Hampshire. All funds raised will go directly to those services. The event kicks off from U-Shot in Hampshire on April 16. It's called the U-Shot 750-Banger Challenge, organized by Brendan Cox. His family, including the mother of his two eldest children and both parents-in-law, received end-of-life care at the hospice. Many participants have their own ties to the charity, through family or friends who've been helped there. Cox highlighted the deep gratitude for the support during tough times, and the challenge brings people together for a good cause. To keep things exciting, drivers will skip motorways and take scenic country lanes, mountain passes, and back roads. They'll even stop at the farmer's dog pub, in Burford, Oxfordshire, run by Jeremy Clarkson.
