Erika Kirk Joins Air Force Academy Board

The board watches over key areas like morale, discipline, curriculum, and facilities at the Colorado Springs Academy. This group acts like a board of trustees, with 15 members total, six come from the President, and nine from Congressional leaders. Trump's picks also include Oklahoma Senator Mark Wayne Mullin, Metta's Dina Powell, and Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville. Erica, 37 years old, now leads Turning Point USA, the conservative group her husband started. As a mother of three, she's become a regular at the White House, and was honored during the recent state of the Union Address. Board Chair Representative August Fluger, a veteran in Academy grad from Texas, praised the choice. He said Erica will carry on Charlie's push to inspire future service members. Their last meeting in December highlighted a chapel renovation project, Charlie Champion, plus issues like punishment for nine senior soccer players.
