Episode 12: Interview with Lynne Bairstow

We spoke with Lynne Bairstow about her transition from tech-startups to focus on Bitcoin, her view on the Latin American investor sentiment on Bitcoin, and how she sees Bitcoin as an emerging technology beyond a store of value.

Lynne is an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor in early-stage tech. Currently, she is devoting her time and experience to “work for Bitcoin”, believing that the adoption and education of Bitcoin is one of the most important purposes of today. She is writing a book, DeFiant Finance: Why Bitcoin is Inevitable, as well as supporting startups that are building on the Bitcoin and Lightning protocols.

After beginning her professional career on Wall Street with Merrill Lynch, she relocated to Mexico where she has lived for more than 20 years. Lynne’s unique perspective is a result of her first-hand combination of experiences in traditional finance and living and transacting in an emerging economy. Lynne is committed to advancing the adoption of Bitcoin to contribute to what she views as a more hopeful and abundant future.
